Where the Hell is the Olympiad?

Due to my lame timezones here in Australia, I woke up at 5:00am for this (3pm CST), and took time off work.... and no Olympiad has started.

Waited.. and waited... and waited.. til now way past even 3pm PST, and still nothing.

Why bother advertising something is starting in a sticky thread on the main official forum, when it doesn't actually happen?

Bugged.. or am I missing something here?

I caught a system message this morning (15-16 hours ago?) stating it's started. I can't claim any actual knowledge on the subject considering I haven't really read up on it, but it has, indeed, started.

My only question is - when do I get to see a fight? ^__^

It would be nice if they gave a time when it starts on the NPC's.

There is no real information to be had from the Olympiad NPC.

Yeah, saw that too.. but it didnt start tho at that point, was just some random message o.0

Its bugged imo, in the sense that im guessing either they messed up the timer, or something.

It is supposed to run between 3pm and 3am each day CST, so hmm...

The competition period is 8:00 PM CST to 12:00 AM CST for all servers except Teon. The web site will be corrected as soon as possible. Sorry for the confusion!

That's nice, but seriously Mystrl, who is running the show over at NCsoft these days? People have lives, and need to plan around things like sieges and hero tournaments. Those kinds of major errors getting through the system is not good enough from a company of NC's size/stature.

I mean, does 3pm to 3am even sound like 8pm to 12am? 12 hours versus 4? QA ftw...
