I can proudly say I am obsessed with raccoon ears.
Trouble is, I dont know where to get the quest. I was told I had to be level 26 to get it, and I am, but i cant find the quest.
The quest starts from the main priest in Giran can't remember the lvl range of it though so might have to wait a few levels. Its not to complicated of a quest...run around a bit, go to aligator beach kill a few gators, go to Devils Island a couple times etc. Oh yea and you will need 1000 Thread and 500 suede and have to buy like 500 spirit ore for the NPC as well.
I also hear that you can get the rec from clan houses and craft from fishing drops not sure on that one though.

you can buy hairpin, eyepatch, monocle and mask recipe's from halls for sure... i THINK the ears are quest only considering i have never seen anyone selling a recipe for them, nor have i ever fished up a piece of an ear O.o
then again, there were recipes for them on PTS, maybe theres a seperate quest for recipes somewhere? wouldnt explain where the pieces come from though... unless some genius decided you can only get those from low end fishing skills as well.
I don't think you can get any raccoon ear stuff from fishing either. Same goes for bunny ears and kitty ears. I have fished up peices for every other accessory, and not a single ear piece.

You can... so yeah thats about it.
And yes the quest start at lv 45, at the head priest in giran.
It's not free either, it requires 1k thread, 500 sueda, and 500 spiritore.
