Macro Limitation

i am new to the whole macro thing and still trying to figure it out so maybe somebody that uses them can help me out. there is an option to input /useskillfore (skill) so you dont have to hit the cntrl button. very useful in the arena.....well my problem is i am a gladiator and /useskillforce Double Sonic Slash doesnt fit in the line. is there a way around this or is it just one of those sh*t out of luck type things? and i have already tried /useskillforce /shortcut 1 1. that doesnt work either :(

or type /useskillforce in the macro, then drag the skill onto the line.

and typing /useskillforce then dragging the skill is a no go too. it replaces the whole line. and there is a character limitation for each line of 32 i believe.....so the only thing that fits into one line is /useskillforce Double Sonic Slas no H, so it doesnt register. this will also be a problem with TSS.

ok, just tried that and it doesnt work. does it work for you? perhaps i am doing something wrong but i have DSS on hot bar 1 button 2 so the macro is /useskillforce shortcut 1 2 and nothing happens.

do you have DSS set to automatic use? un-automate it. use the dss and make sure the macro is on another hotbar.

using /shortcut 1 2 wont work if that is placed on hotbar1 :p

You don't need to hold down the Ctrl button in the arena, nor do you need to use /useskillforce, unless you are in party with your opponent. You can just use the /useskill Double Sonic Slash in the arena.
