Right now in C grade I'm testing the CON SK build, I use +3Con -3STR tats, a Full Plate and a SLS with Focus.
But when I get to B grade I want to go with a STR SK Build, BW armor (+3 STR, -1CON -2DEX), +2STR -2CON, +4DEX -4CON and +4INT -4WIT tats.
What I'm not sure yet is the weapon.
Damascus Sword with Focus and a Doom Shield
or
Great Sword with Health
What would be the better of the 2?
The dama-Shield advantages are : The m.atk is greater, the shield will block attacks and SK have shield self-buff.
The Great Sword advantages : The p.atk is greater, and the health compensate the low CON.
And yes, I'm still 12 level until B grade, but I like to make theses decisions early, anyway by next week I should have the money to buy the armors and tats.
You're missing one key point. Great sword has more patk but a lot less atk speed. Having tried both I feel that a +3 Damascus puts out more damage over time than a great sword. GS's damage output is much closer to that of a keshanberk.
Health is relatively pointless if you aren't going to use a shield. I mean all it does is give you better max HP but you take more damage, meaning you need more heals, have to drain more, or need to rest more often.
I'd stick with a single handed weapon and a shield. You're a tank--never underestimate how much your shield keeps you alive, ESPECIALLY in doom with the set bonus. You have masteries and a shield buff for a reason >.>
Also, m atk is a SK's friend. More than one high level SK has opted for a SOM as his weapon, since their magic can be more helpful than their melee damage. I'll take a SK who can land hex consistently over one doing a wee bit more damage with their two handed sword...

Thanks for that info.

I did thought about that, but since I never tried it, I wasn't sure if the +health=the no shield damage.

With that build, I wont be much a tank anymore, more a DD. And it's only the Doom Shield I want to use, since BW don't have one.

I want to keep my m.atk as high as I can without using a mage Sword.
