Lets get some good thoughts here other than to be original because that does not cut it if you plan to pvp or siege. They level quickest with a boxed SE,they do the most consistant damage, great range, casting speed........., and the ability to use a long list of tatoos. Ever been cancelled by someone near 15 levels below you, or been slept post here.
Ooooh I got one better, watching 2 lvl 4x d-grade unbuffed necros chain silence a lvl 7x unbuffed a-grade SH. And let us remember, silence is not overpowered..... uh huh.
Yah, I'll remember that then next time I have my pocket healer out. Oh wait, that's right, not everyone has one of those.
Yes, mental shield (they changed it back to shield instead of aegis for some reason) does help block. However not all of us have the luxury of always having a buffer with us. Besides, if silence was not so overpowered then why would someone over 30 (that's right thirty) lvls and 2 (yup two) gear lvls higher even need mental shield to block it? The only other skill that (at the time) worked with those numbers was cancel, and they have since lowered the chances of cancel landing and taking off all buffs. Now it should be silence's turn to get hit with the nerf hammer. :p

put some money aside and grab a sprite staff with Mental aegis SA everyone can have mental its justa matter of if they REALLY want to work to have it 24/7 * i know if I ever came back I would have a sprite staff with this SA if I had a self buff that would trigger it.*
should you reroll nuker or not cause they are the FoTM??
If your not planing to siege or pvp why brother?
The fact is Range is better then close fighting.
But if you get cough up on killing a mage or anoying tank and a TH sneeks up on you, or a destoryer. well it's over for the mage I'd say about 55% of the time.
To leave your questions behind, I've been playing nole since C1 and only just been able to make it to mid 60's. so for you to think I'm a FoTM you sadly missteaken.
( I chose necro over scor cause of the debuffs, and was more of what I liked doing, WRL at the time was a sad sad missteak for any one. not now tho)
I think the main reason many refuse to reroll nuker is because they are boring to play as on a normal basis. Its that simple. Many people play the game to have fun and pressing a few F keys doesn't appeal to everyone. Sure I know most will say EVERY class is press a few F keys but thats simply not true with many classes like healers and many melee. Positioning helps melee tremendously, anyone who says otherwise isn't playing their melee efficiently. Also some people like to just be in the thick of enemies beating on one while 10 others bash on them from all sides, its fun :). Nukers can't take much of a beating, when they get hit its 'Sleep', no more danger......BORING. Personally I love hunting high mob concentration areas that nukers simply cannot hunt efficiently. What it boils down to is many play the game for fun, and since a class is easiest to play it doesn't make them the most enjoyable to play.
This post was intended to bring more attention to the imbalance of nukers in PvP. This is not talk about inside the arena either. Balance needs to be made in m.def and the curve that is given to stats by buffs.

We all know about the inballance.
That has been debated about time and time again since start of C3. honestly since C2. but C2 was all about the Dagger.
You know C3 brought SA's and more dmg. (A/S grade adds PvP dmg!)
I think that as a whole the game is fairly ballanced when it comes to classes, what NCsoft needs to do now is give small lvls of passives to the fighter class for m df, increase the P df of mages a tad. as well needs to give might mortal back to daggers.
Remove useless SA's such as "light" (tho it can be helpfull for PR's) and replace it with more usefull SA's.
I think a conterballance with PvE and PvP is needed, all high end content is about PvP, I.E: hero's, noblesse, 3rd classes, S grade weapons, A grade armors.

I don't think it does, though, because I don't think there are enough people who read the message boards and don't know this already. People argue how much, or under what circumstances, but the general "they work better in the end" is pretty much accepted.

I hate to say this but aren't there enough threads about this subject? There are so many arguments out there including the discussion that the "supposed imbalance" is done intentionally that I don't see any real reason to make another thread about it.
It's all people seem to talk about. That and bots.
quite frankly, my feeling is either play a character you are happy with or don't play at all.
If one thinks that the only way to get any satisfaction out of the game (pvp wise) is to roll a nuker or archer then I say do it already. Or not play because the game doesn't work for you.
