In game sapport reduced?

Before I left at the end of C2 and all the way back to launch in game sapport in L2 was the best. It got positive reviews by many sites. Most of the time there were at least 2 gm's providing sapport.

I realise they may be hidden to catch bots but sapport has slowed way down. I patitioned for Chant of rage skill not staking with focused weapon and waited for about 45 minutes and had no responce.

I don't think I ever waited more then 30 minutes before, with the exeption of the Core door crash bug. With increasing populations I don't see why NCsoft would scale back sapport.

I'll submit a ticket for out of game saport but even that has changed. Used to be able to email them and 90% of the time they would get back to you. The other 10% is the few times I was ignored and never recived a reply.

First, it's support.

Now, for your post: are you sober? Support was the best? When ? Compared to what? Positive reviews by sites for the Lineage 2 support?
...is this still my dimension? O_o

Yes of course support is flooded at the moment with all the crap they let onto the live servers even though most of it was supposedly addressed on the PTS. This happened at every chronicle launch so far (both the swamped GMs/support and the bug thing) but granted, in C4 it feels even worse.

It's nothing new that support degrades over time in any online game and there wasn't a lot it could degrade from in the first place. At least they did a hotfix for the sweep bug (though it took them ages...) so meh, could be worse.
Not a lot but yeah. <_<

Oops on the miss spell. MMORPG.com and IGEVault bolth gave positive reviews about there support. MMORPG did say it was the best.

I personally thought in game support was very fast.

hehe yes it used to be very fast, unfortunatly its not that fast anymore.
Wait wait wait, there's in game support? You mean like help from with IN the game? I thought the only real ppl on there were the players.

/sarcasm off

In my experiences the in game support is not what I would have ever called the best. Now with c4 it seems that in game petitioning is just calling one of those automated 800 help numbers where you have to go through 20 different computer options to talk to a real person. :(
The answers are all automated now. I used to get a nice friendly greeting and a name of the GM i was talking to, and then at the end i would get a "is there anything else i can help you with" that doesnt happen anymore, they just give an auto response and end the petition. The GM's are now what they try to exterminate, bots.
It used to be the case that Lineage2 had the quickest responses of any mmog I played.

With the launch of C4, they've dropped it down to ~24 hrs for a response -- Which is still a lot better than EQ1, but that's not saying much.

I guess $15/mth from "heavy" number of subscribers doesn't buy as much as it used to. :p
LOL, nice way of putting it. Guess it just goes to show ncsofts support of that ideal in this game. If you can't beat them, join them. lmao

At first everyone thought that announcement and the lack of online gm's was just supposed to be for chaos week. Well that's been over for some time now and they are still giving us that announcement with no gm's being online anymore.
Greetings,

Well, I recently ran a few tests on support. Here are my findings...

If it's speed you want, DON'T use /GM. You will be talking to some outsourced guy who just presses macro buttons. I was fairly unimpressed by how impersonnal and crude the /GM responses have become.

On the other hand, using the Support website at PlayNC (http://support.lineage2.com) , I was surprised to see how fast I got a response, how fast my issues were escalated (because I threw a couple of tough ones at them), how much followup I got, and how much technical knowledge they displayed.

So I'd say : Use /GM if you need to report a bot (just report and forget). It still works, it's just that you'll never know IF and how fast it works, and you'll get an automated response.

Use support website if you have an issue that requires actual knowledge of the game, or just plain technical knowledge.

DM can you or anyone else imagine why /gm versus email versus the clunky support.ncsoft.com don't all go to the same queue?

Oui, mon ami, on appelle ça la théorie des files.

Let's say you run a bank. Would you have 4 tellers with 4 different lines or your same 4 tellers with only one line ?

Simulations clearly demonstrate one line is much more efficient. Mathemagicians know what I am talking about.

They are trying to centralize support, with a single "line".

It's pretty clever, if you ask me, but it however gives a VERY BAD image to in-game support.

I left a /GM for a bot came back 12 hours later bot was still there should i just take Screenshots and send them via email?

Also I post a topic about "Increase in Botters" and my post was deleted is there something wrong with a paying customer wanting to address a issue that doesn't appear to be getting any better? Afterall i pay my hard earned Money to play here.
