Hello, I've recently just gotten into L2 and enjoying it so far - however... there are a few issues that have been troubling me. Firstly is the Filter, is there any way to disable this? Second, I'd like to know if it's possible to engage a normal 'white named' (Sorry, I don't know how else to explain this) person and keeping a constant Auto-Attack up? IE. Not having to Ctrl+Click every attack?
No, no way of surpassing the naughty word filter. You'll have to be a bit more creative, when you want to curse ;)
You can make a macro for force attacking - see this list (http://www.lineage2.com/guide/commands.html) - but it looks like you'll have to include the name of the person you want to kill IN the macro, so it's really not that useful, unless it's for your arch nemesis.
But another thing you can do is to have your victim targetted, and keep spamming the attack key. I'm sure you've figured out how to put that on your hot bar. That's if they're flagged (purple). Otherwise you have to hold control (if you don't make a macro)
I hadn't thought of it, but I knew of this command. Basically, if you had someone targetted, and wrote %target you would say your target's name in white chat. Any macro with %target in it, will do stuff (which you write in the macro) to you target. This was an overly complicated explanation to avery simple thing. :p
All right, I figured as much on both questions. Atleast the filter isn't as gawd awful as that unholy abomination CM put into RF Online. :eek:
I just think it funny that people feel the need to actually type out expletives. It's almost like "being intimate" and writing out your discourse during lovemaking.
