As time flies, the Fishing club is getting bigger and bigger. Of course, people are attracted to people who are fishinggazaillionnaires.
I so remember logging in, and beeing content with about a 50K gain on a hunt as a newb. As a newb now, I can fish around 150-200K an hour (Fish gems makes an ENOURMOUS viariance at lower levels).
At higher levels, you just go for the proofs per hour. I logged in this morning, and made 1 million when I got back from work on only proofs. Yesterday, I made 2.5 millions.
Now no talking about bots in this thread to get it locked again, because the bots are "instantly" removed from this prime fishing area.
It's a role-playing area. Fishing folks are VERY open minded. And please people, lay low on the screenshots... Good greif, they get side-by-side picture, then the back to back picture, then they move around for another few shots...

I got myself lvl 3 fish mastery and lvl 5 pump/reel, using high qual green lures i been pulling in some nibles for the fish gems, i got quite a few but theres no one to buy them from me T.T I could be rich if there was actually a market for this fish materials crap.
The price you sell your stuff influences also greatly how fast you will move your merchandise.
I usually go under the current market price and it usually takes less than 30 minutes to sell all the POCF I have for sale. Sometimes it's bought in like 2 minutes. You can sell them while taking a bathroom break...
There is a very high demand on fish gems and proofs...
Not on bartz in giran then, people sell there gems for 24k and proofs for 200a, i put my proofs down for 120a and my gems 18k and no 1 brought all day.
All the fishers gather outside giran weapon shop to sell and i didnt get a bite all day. The real task of fishing which is more realistic is trying to sell your goods...
Cant really sell to the npc either cos he offers such poor amounts, not even more then the lure i used :(
maybe this doesnt count cos im on devianne but i got meself lvl 11 FM, 10P/10R and i yank in fish oils like crazy. few gems and very far between. many sea giants tho. thats bad for a healer tho :p.
i wonder whats the easiest way to haul in the gems? proofs is no problem.
Ayyyy maties, the devil misled me for such is his nature. My main fisherman overshot the level for the good trinkets but statistics are your friend. Another alt can fish for the higher level (2x gems) fishy gems and another even lower toon fishes for the lower level fishy gems (1x per). Life is good until the fish come back to take a bite out of you.
So what bait do you use? Mine are mainly mid grade lures.
Does location matter? At first I thought no but I moved and lo and behold my bucket was full of fat fish. Delicious but the conversion rate on them is appalling. Also fish a LOT of treasure chests in this new place. Hrm hrm hrm.
