Level 76 skill sp cost...

Ok this is the biggest pile of crap I've seen. Why is a sorc getting charge 30 mil sp for Wisdom skill and yet it costs the sps only 15 mil PLUS they get a nuke skill. Looking at the skills list I can see NCSoft ran out of ideas but charging 30 mil sp for a skill is just a big pile of garbage. Very very very mad. Seriously, someone needs to rebalance things. Charge 15 mil for wisdom and let us do what we want with the other 15 mil sp.
I think the idea was to keep skill enchanting fair.. personally ill have to delvl myself on guards a bit to get SP to enchant skills.

but I don't like it either
ALL skills should cost the same NO MATTER how many skills u have

even if sorc get only 1 skill and sps get 3, it should cost the SAME to get the same skills
Yup-this way its gonna be balanced since we DO get less skills. So we should have an advantage because of that no?
Yes, that is something which annoyed me even in the -74 skillsets. Some classes get more skills than others, but to compensate for getting MORE skills, each skill costs LESS than for a same-level class with less skills to choose from. And it's not exactly as if the classes with less skills get skills which are so incredibly better that it justifies the higher cost. Look e.g. at spellhowler compared to sorcerer. Would have been interesting to make skills cost the same for all classes - then the classes with more skills would have to actually decide which skills to get, and not everybody would be the same cookie cutter character.

Also, a bit unrelated to this, I do not really understand why e.g. a Stormscreamer and a Mystic Muse get two nukes in 76-78, while a Sorc only gets one (when the Sorc only had one main nuke to start with, while the others had two/five). Seems quite unbalanced to me. SH then has Hurricane/Death Spike/Shadow Flare/Vampiric Claw/Dark Vortex/Wind Vortex/Curse Death Link, Mystic Muse has Hydro Blast/Solar Flare/Light Vortex/Ice Vortex, while Sorc has Prominence/Fire Vortex (and Fire Vortex is lvl 77, while Dark Vortex and Light Vortex are lvl 76). Looks like NCSoft do not like Sorcs :)
I try to post solutions to problems. So unless NCSoft is going to give archmages some level 76 skills when the rest of c4 comes in then here's my suggestion.

Give archmages Fire Vortex at level 76 with power of 139 in line with the other mages. Then at level 77 it can be upgraded to Fire Vortex 2 with a power of 140.

Oh yeah, did I mention the other classes get to train Wisdom skill for only 10 mil sp? BTW Hinde server, trader of mammon sells blessed rez scrolls for 480K aa. If I go perma red I'll be hunting high levels. Someone stick a fork in me cause I'm almost done.
I rember on the pts that the lvl 78 Sagitarius skill was 60 mil sp...

It cost Exp and SP to enchant skills..leave it to NC Soft when you think you might actualy max your charichter...they come up with another reason to keep grinding forever
The problem is Sorcs are what nukers should look like.
It would be better if they remove all except 1 nuke and 1 vortex from the other nukers.
Sorcs are the most balanced of all-no insane dmg and no insane speed :p

Bzzt! Skills have never cost the same. Look at the DA/Paladin. The DA gets more skills, so each skill costs less. THe overall SP cost is about the same. This has especially hurt new orcs; their first nuke skill costs like 520 sp, whereas the human equivelant is about 200. The SP cost per level is about the same, and that's the idea.

Thank you for playing, "Stuff we already knew since Prelude!" Please come again. :D

Thats the point, with no end to the game no 1 will get bored and quit.

There has to be a reward to make the grind worthwhile. Anyway, I've grinded my toons all this time without leeching or powerleveling. But I read a post in the Gustin forums that it was perfectly legal to buy powerleveling as long as it's done with adena. So maybe I'll go this route for just one level. The problem is I might like it so much that I'll just get the rest of my levels this way. Come home from work and ding, level 78.
It's still backwards - some classes get a lot of "junk" skills, thus save a bunch of SP - some need to learn all of theirs, and thus get the shaft.

I know I'll never have enough SP until I actively start delevelling, and that's a very depressing thought.
The game is a journey, there is no destination. We should enjoy the journey, not try to finish it. This is why the whole idea of rushing to get to higher levels is so silly. The game content is fun at 10, fun at 20, fun at 30....fun at 70. If you rush to 70 then you have noone but yourself to blame for missing the fun at 50, &tc.

I've always thought that doing it slow was much more fun than doing it fast.

Wrong. I am allready bored. And I have not even hit first sub yet. The xp/sp curve is just a tad too steep for me to waste my time.
go play WoW then..
