Okay, I finally completed the second part of alliance with Ketra orcs in the hopes that after part 1 and 2 (400 badges total) I would be at the end. I am not -- I think.
I went back to teh orc messenger and he gave me another quest - alliance membership part 3! Not the crystal thing the Succession to teh Legend part ask. So folks told me I have to complete the third alliance quest (600 badges total).
Then what? I've checked everywhere for a mention so I can see how long this bloody thing has to go on. I'm getting frustrated. :(
So does anyone know exactly what occurs or what I'll need to do AFTER this part of the quest? :(

You do not need the 3rd part. Go into Ketra village and talk to the Seer guy there. He will tell you to go to Silenos village and get a statue from a chest there. If you bring that back to him, you will get the stone you need for the class change quest.
Yes, you do not need the 3rd part (where you have to get soldier, captain and general badges). I only completed alliance lvl 2 and then I was able to talk to the seer in Ketra village and get the quest from him (magical power of water part 1). If you bring back the statue (very fast&easy to do with the event cat ports, you do not have to fight even a single mob), you will get the divine stone of wisdom. Then you can continue your class change quest and eventually you will come to the part where you have to kill mobs for 700 quest items. ** ** ** :)
Hon, I simply LOVE you! WIth your awesome info I completed that horrid portion of the quest tonight -- SOLO. After remembering NCsoft would remove the Nobless teleport cat tomorrow, I didn't want to chance it!
So, I'll be ready to take on the 700 mobs tomorrow. I'm nice and cozy on a cliff in the area. :D I was curious to see how I would do if I had to solo the area. The first portion with the ants and scarabs is a breeze for a BD! White and green mobs! THAT, at least, was a blessing. :)
Then you are pretty much done. After you kill the 700 mobs, a quest mob will pop up (really easy to kill, could solo it as a SE), and then you are off to the last tablet. For all people I helped with the quest so far and for myself, some quest NPC appeared who was fighting a quest mob. You had to help fight the quest mob, and after a while the mob disappeared. Talk to the quest NPC immediately and choose the dialogue option it offers. We had to do quite a lot of tries the first time we did the 3rd class change quest for a clannie - we always waited for the quest item to appear by itself, and if you do not talk to the quest NPC immediately when the mob disappears, the NPC will disappear, too, and you have to do the whole thing again...
