are there any towns that sell soul/spirit ore AND healing pots for prices like in starter towns. I can go to dwarf land for ore's but am at a loss with healing pots. Been away from game for quite some time and the map is much bigger now.
I'm assuming you are a dwarf, since you buy Soul Ore and Spirit Ore. Further, I'm assuming you have two dwarves, scavy and arty.
There are no towns, not subject to taxes, that sell health potions (they sell only lesser health pots.) But, if you have a dwarf who can spoil, you could spoil them off the Androscopio (29, Wastelands,) Delu Lizard Scout (29, near Floran and MDT,) Silenos (30, Hilltop near MDT,) Breka Orc (31, n of Giran,) Strain (31, DV,) Delu Lizard Supplier (32, Floran/MDT,) and the Ol Mahum Van Archer (32, Red Rock [hills?]) Be careful of the last one, he does something weird, but I can't remember what right now.
There is also a quest on TI that gives Health Pots as a reward; Rancher's Plea. You have to take the spider skins to Marius, near the quest NPC, and he gives 2 pots for 10 skins. (He also gives SS or SpS, if you wish, but the pots are worth more.)
so far after dorf town rune is your best bet
rune is a town without a castle and therefore has no tax (apart from hidden base town tax)
if giran tax is low enough thats where you wanna buy from

Yes orc Village 287 for soul ore and Spirit ore is the low price also..

i think us high lvl crafters take that for granted
i still remember the days when i would go to dorf town to buy 20k of soul ore, walking most of the way to save on gate fees
last time i bought ore i grabbed 40 mil of soul ore
