Best weapon setup to lvl up 1-20 for Orc Warrior?

I know is a very noobish question :D ... I was wondering what is the best way to level up an orc warrior (my second char so far, 1 month playin ;) to use dual fist weapons or sword + shield? The more output damage from fists + fist skill offset the lack of defense / parry with shield that would mean less resting from damage taken by mobs? (spamming random ss with the money dropped by monsters )

The thing is i can lend the warrior the bone shield my current sorc has, or i can do some effort and get my self a vipers fangs :), but dont wanna spend the money on the last one if is not so much useful than shield + 1handed ... thanx ;)
Fist weapons for orc monks. Sword shield for orc raider. As you will have to pay for the skills now anyway this is your time to decide which path you like to follow.

The orc raider is a tankoid that deals good damage. Best weapons for him is either the polearm or the two handed sword. The orc monk is faster, deals good damage and has less staying power but fun totems to play with.
He won't be a monk or raider until 20+, and he's asking about no-grade.

I'd say, if you can afford it, any top melee weapon should work. Fists are fun due to slightly better accuracy, but a two-handed sword is also a good call. Wouldn't bother with a shield at all if you're doing the newbie quests, the potions/shots they'll give you more than make up for it.

All better now to decided what route.

Don't make the mistake i made, decided on what route you will go before you take your first set of skills.

As for weapons i'm not sure what the OP is asking... If your going monk get a set of viper fangs.... If your going raider a bone shield and a long sword.
The issue isn't what weapon is the best, my question to you is. What do you want to play?
The correct answer to your question is Viper Fangs and Bronze Set plus a lot of potions. Regardless of what class you are going at 20, that is the most efficient setup without a buffer behind you.

If you have someone power-leveling you who can boost your critical rate and Haste you, then Falchion and Bone Shield would be better than Viper Fangs.

What you spend your SP on for skills is an entirely different matter that you didn't even ask about but here goes. Iron Punch and Power Strike are useless later on so personally I wouldn't waste the SP on them. Here's what you need regardless of class change.

Armor Mastery
Weapon Mastery
Iron Body
Relax
Sorry guys didnt readt ur replies until now, thanx for the input on gear ;) Regarding to which class ill become, as u prolly guessed i still havent decided ... Tyrant appealed to me more, versatility with totems , speed etc seemed to me like lot of fun, but it seems to me more like a DD lacking staying power in light armor and less HP passives, having to rest lot more, afraid of grinding becoming slow and painful ... besides Destroyer seems nuts ubber in melee, great damage, staying power with that great HP skills defense etc, more straightforward to play and to level up, prolly more wanted for raids / catacombs parties ...
Having really a hard time trying to decide ! :)
Beware though that no melee class can be described as uber in this game. They are great fun to play, but nowehere as good in PvP then any ranged class. If you crave PvP choose a wizard class. Fotm seems to be the necromancer.
I quite know, I have been playin the game so far mainly with a Dark Wizard and soloing / grinding have been quick and easy, 2 much but ... boring for me. Thats why i have decided to try an active fighter (preffer to decline tank classes) that can be more divese and challenging , dont pretend to be the ubber killer of melees but also dont wanna feel like crawling in the solo game (not for the exp, more for the difficulty to face some mobs).I'm having into account that as melee i will never get any close in killing and easy playin as a ranged, dont mind anyway (well for now haha). I look for fun and diversity of actions / attacks without sacrifing a lot survivality (I guess is a little difficult what i ask for hehe)
If you're hard up for cash, there's a quest at 12 for the Butcher Sword which isn't horrible for the price (free). I started my orc last week, and I'm glad I had the event weapons to breeze me through 1-20. The weapon you trade in for at 20 is pretty awesome as well, considering you again didn't have to pay for it.
I have always managed to make enough money with my orcs to have a top NG weapon when I hit 20. The orc money quests are quite good. No reason at all to leave orc country untill you are 19.
Ah yes, weapon for a starter char is no problem for me now, I made enough cash while i played the dark wiz coz I was lucky and i hadnt to spend tons of money on a good mage weap, i benefited from the C4 starter char traveler weapon ... I have bought my orc some vipers fang from a player for 200k at dion ;) When i hit lvl20 I plan to sell the weapon again for the same price aprox

What is bothering me now is which path to choose .. Raider or monk ... want to have fun more in pve with a good variety of skills / different play styles, specially grinding and contribute well in raids / partys. PVP is not apriority , will be a matter more for the long future when I am able to get some decent gear ... not even near top (prices are so hiigh in this game sigh )
Could u explain me briefly what is the main role / ussage of each of em, main playin differences for grinding/soloing and party PVE?

Well this is not the topic of the post anymore, i guess I dont have enough criteria to choose myself ;)
tyrants can self-heal.. kinda...

destroyers are just big fat dorf with some more skills..
Destroyer can self heal too. And calling them a dwarf of sorts is really being ignorant. You're comparing _THE BIGGEST DAMAGE DEALER_ to the lowest damage dealer in game(excluding healers). A destroyer can have 12k+ Pattk, thats 1-shot for most of A-graders on a Critical, 3k or more on normal hits on robes and the likes. There's only a few things equal between a Destroyer and a Dwarf, either BH or a WS and those are some of the same skills and masteries. (Sword/Blunt mastery, heavy mastery, boost HP, pole mastery, pole skills and blunt skills.)

After those, they're totally different.
How come destroyers get to continue to learn battle roar and glads dont >.< BIASED !!!!!!!!
