newb tax question

Why does Devianne have the highest tax average of all the servers? Pretty much the highest castle tax on any other server is 15%, but with us every castle is 25% with the exception of gludio, Innadril & giran. Just curious...

Taxes are high to offset the mannor systems that have the best payout

Teon and Gustin had caught up while having lower taxes last I checked, but that was in C3.

buy in rune, 0% tax rate all the way to c5

Because Covenant/Imperium owns the castles with those tax rates.

Heine and Gludio are not owned by Cov or Imperium, hence the 5% tax rate.

I believe Devianne is the only server with the seal of... whatever the 3rd one is, active.

Seal of Strife. The Seal of Strife allows us to set the taxes to 25% other servers don't deal with that seal so they can't go that high but if they did, they would.

But notice how all the other non imp/cov clans who own castles dont bring it up that high.

Heine tax is 25% too
