Having played an SH during those crazy Raid Boss events, I can say for certain that the party with the most SHs always outputs the most ( aka, drops went to my party 100% of the time the raid went right ).
There is a few different opinions on nuker pvp. Some say speed some say Matk. SH's have more Matk and Sps have more speed. I play a Sps I do pretty good in pvp. But remember you have to have buffs. Nukers are great at lvling solo with self buffs and even better with an SE. But in pvp you will definatley need outside buffs and a healer/mp regen.
I faught another Sps the other day. I didn't know he was 13 lvl's higher then me until it was too late. He had a SOM++++ DC and malaria with outside buffs. He cast so fast there was no animation I just fell dead within seconds I got off 1 spell before I died all other spells were getting interupted even aura flare/bolt got interupted.
Found out later he was lvl 75 and had a 1222 cast speed. But hey I learned who he was and will stay away from him for the next 10 lvl's lol.
The issue is that it just isn't that cut and dried. SH's do very well at PvP and we certainly do the most damage in one shot. However... if a SpS can out cast you then they might wipe the floor with you. Granted, the SH has silence. If they can land that then game over.
So, I would say SH is better for Raids (plus we can squeeze extra mana out with body to mind in case the Raid Boss is "a little hard") and the SpS is better for Pvp.
But remember... it is easier to lvl a SH than a SpS because of mana management.
Hmm... and what about sorcerers? By stats they are something between SH and SpS but i see this class is much less played and talked abut than other two nukers...

Did you mean to say that sorcs were played MORE and talked about MORE?
I'm looking to sub either a sorc or SH and so far i think im going with a SH. I have a lvl 43 sorc i was working on and the 52int just seems to awesome, after going through the skills for SH it just seems like the better choice.
