I made a dark elf mystic and got to level 7, right now am lost as all get out looking for some black smith kaddor to give him some bronze swords..........any advice on what path to take with my char and any info on clans would be greatly appreciated

But as a DE mystic you have three choices, Phantom Summoner (assist your summon and melee) Spellhowler(high power, but slower nuker) and Shilen Elder (buffer and healer, always wanted in parties)
if you need info about phantom summoner there's not a lot of us on Lionna, hell i'm probably like in the top 10 or so level wise. So anyhow i can answer questions if you have them.

Well, you could give him the gear outside of town and then PK. Remember the scene from Time Bandits with Robin Hood (John Cleese)? They'd give money, loot, whatever to the poor and then his minion (can't remember his name) would punch the poor person in the face?

anyhoos I have some serious questions about this game, when you are casting a spell is there anyway to move, do you ever gain the ability to move at all while castin or do you always just stand there? anyway to make you move without point and click?
PvP seems like it is entirely character based and very little, if any emphasis on skill
still undecided if this game is worth playing compared to the dinosaur of asheron's call: darktide server (everyone is perma pk, no safe zones, a level 90 char can kill a level 300 char if he is a skilled enough mage)
so for the time being I thank you all for your help and offers of gear but I wouldn't feel right taking anythin until I am sure I am going to stick around this game.

You use these to amplify your spell's damage and lessen your casting time. You'll want to drag them down to a spot on your quickbar for ease of use. If you want to continually use them, once they are on your quickbar right-click on them.

You can use your arrow keys to move. Up/Down for forward and back, left/right to turn. As far as moving while casting, no. You cannot move and cast. This makes kiting a little more dangerous, but all you have to do is cast, run until you have enough room, cast, run until you have enough room.... lather, rinse, repeat.
I find that while I'm casting I'll have my camera behind me and I'll click a spot to run to. That way as soon as my cast is done, I take off running.

For the most part, it is. I watched a single character wipe out a five-man party not too long ago. (If you're curious, I was one of the five that got wiped out). People wonder why I don't enjoy PVP...
Still, though, there is some skill to it, or so I hear. Don't gauge your theory of PVP on your lower levels, either. It gets more entertaining once you get up into the 'power' ranges.

you won't have to worry about my name though, I finally got to pk and man is it terrible compared to asheron's call darktide server. it is so insanely slow and entirely boring, if you guys enjoy this you really should try AC because the PVP in AC is 5000000x better than this game
