At lower levels on my alts, I party everybody I encounter and is willing. I personally like pick-up parties, you never know what mess you will get into.
2, Besides people making groups from clan/alliance you also have to take into account that its a Monday night. People have jobs. And after a heavy weekend of playing they might have to attend to other things. Just a bad night. There are still people who look for groups.
However, there are a lot of people who solo or 2 box as well.
last night i returned to the game and i was amazed:
everything is extremally expensive example:
cbp for 8-9k ( saw n several stores)
brig helm for 2,5 mill ( when i left it was 500k maximum)
falchion for 250k ( it was 180k when i quit)
and so on
i tryed to get groups for 4 hours but couldnt join one, in fact NO ONE
was shouting LFG, i went to aden, giran, lair entrance, TOI entrance and giants
cave entrance, all places were almost abandoned;
so i tryed some catacombs and necros , same thing; none there
In a desperate move, i tryed the lfg interface, silly me:
there were 1 group asking for a healer, a group asking for orc buffer
and the rest were ppl using the lfg interface to sell stuff.
So im wondering: are u guys making groups using the clan and alliance channels only?
BDs usually get groups very easily, but yea, msot of the time people look in their clan/alliance for players, then start lookin outside for the needed classes. im adding you to my BD list now, so i pm when i need and when your online :)
about CBP 8-9k....i never bought cbp for that price, i usually pay 4-5k from buyshops.
As for me i never party people i dont know, so i would only join a non alliance group if it is from either Legend or FS or at least if the biggest part are those whom i know more or less well.
As for 1st questin - inflation and stupid noobs, that keep buying stuff which is 300k to craft at exorbitant price.
Pick up parties can be fun but now you don't see if someone is in a war so you got to be a bit careful, not everyone tells you that. Nor does ANYONE on this bloody server respect other people in a way that they leave the one they are at war with alone if he is on a party with 8 complete strangers. No wonder noone wants to party anymore...
As for prices...well...it´s just offer/demand
It's more like ridicoulus offers and idiots who got their adena from other sources not caring about it... <_<
There is alot of fighting going on lately on the server, it's hard to know who you can and cant group with. I agree with the others, get a good clan and start there. Then of course as you get more friends and start to find out who is who these days you'll be ok.

I remember I use to struggle for groups often until I started meeting people and grouping with more and more different groups as often as possible. Now whenever I log on it's often times a rush of pms asking if i'm lfg. You wont have to wait long for the good BD status to get around the server. People love us :)
Yath just drop me a PM in game im always looking for BDs to join party.
Soon get ya claned up with Theo and there should be no problem
In general tho if there are no party rooms set up why not make 1 it takes no skill and why not if there is nothing better to do, doesnt take many atempts at this untill you get a good bunch of names to pm in future :)
