Public Stores for C grade

I am approaching level 40 on my main (subclassing to BD) and need to start thinking about c grade. I'm after FP and dual kats (will buy a couple seperately and put 'em together if it's cheaper than going private). Can I get these at a public store? If so, where?

FP set is craft only. You can either buy the dual kats from another player about 10~12m, or make them using the giran luxury shop (Allows you to buy lowergrade C items with C and D crystals) You would buy..something lower than the normal Kat(Stormbringer) and then upgrade to kat at mammon using AA. ((Kat crystal count)-(Stormbringer crystal count))x3000=AA cost. But then you have to buy a dual craft stamp from a castle owner, or a castle owners shop in town..somewhat hard to find on my server(At least for a decent price).

This is untrue. For C-grade duals, you just go to the blacksmith and pay a small fee--no stamp needed.

huh cool, guess I will have to use the 20 I just bought to make +16 NM*Nm then. Never made duals before sorry for the mis info :/

So that's the price of two stormbringers (which I'll have to check), plus a little under 700k aa per upgrade (let's say 1.4mil adena if I decide to be lazy and just buy the aa)... and THEN the stamp. Hmmm... a tough decision. Is the stamp reuseable? If no, I can buy one and then use it in my own time, right?

As far as I know, that is all. Make sure that the swords separate are cheaper than the swords already dualed. Not sure, but it might be cheaper to upgrade dual Stormbringers to dual Kats..same equation.

Couldn't resist...about 1,620,000 to upgrade Stormbringer*Stormbringer>Kat*Kat.

dont forget, if you end up buying swords from players instead of the shop + upgrade... any enchantments and SA's will be lost when you dual them! so dont bother paying extra

Can I actually upgrade duals though? I was under the impression that once you went through the process of sticking two swords together, Mammon wont touch 'em. Is this the case?

You can upgrade duals to other duals. Up to top C grade.

Just remember that if you upgrade, you lose all enchantments. However, you can exchange for equal duals for free and without losing enchantments.
