Since not all players are trustworthy, you may not wish to hand your item to a newly met dwarf for crushing. The Library shows the crystal content of each item. Almost all dwarf warsmiths and artisans carry crystals with them, so if your item has 200 crystals, ask the dwarf for a trade. Some will do it for free, many will ask a fee, perhaps 1% of the crystals. So hand them the 200 crystal item and they hand you 198 crystals, and you are both happy.

If ur referring to [censored], it's not traceable. If they were to find a way to detect you, then it *could* be bannable, assuming that's high on their list of priorities.

Haven't you been here when dozens of people show up out of nowhere crying that all of their friends got banned for 3rd party apps? It's happens a lot.
The most accurate list is [censored].com. They use a program called a sniffer. It tallys drops from every player who DL's it and they load it in to the DB. So no mistakes. The longe it goes the more accurate i gets.
Wich reminds me, look for a thread asking the mods if the sniffer is an exeptable program.

Yes I have, but then, most crying people are banned because of botting programs, not sniffers. A certain programme (that might have the elements of a warehouse and l2 in it) is a port sniffer and can be started after gameguard is loaded. Unless GG starts deliberately looking for 3rd party names, I doubt sniffers are going to end up on their ban list.

Yeah, and if you kill someone and nobody sees it, it's not a crime, I guess...
Besides, it's not very difficult for NC to upgrade their game-guard software to detect that kind of sniffer program, if they really want to.
