Ive gotten a quest from hunters guild, the first class A quest i have seen. Im supposed to kill this chief and get a book from him. Ive checked all the resources i know of and can't find any info on this. Does anyone know anything about this quest? Can it be completed solo? Where do you find this guy?
It can be completed solo, you need to kill Karul Bugbears till the chief spawns.
If you have 2nd level hunters license though the quest won't work (at least it wasn't in C3... maybe they fixed it). You can get the book, but Tor won't give you reward for it (and you won't be able to take any more requests... so deleting the quest item remains last option)
yup, just delete the request, and the quest item. DO NOT delete your hunter's license, you'll be fine. I've got like 60 or so laurel leaves now, and that is how I've always handled it. if I get a request I'm not sure about (as some of the descriptions are vague), it is no problem to take the job, get the better description, and then delete the job and choose another if it turns out to be too big of a problem.
Ty for the info iskan. With regards to why, it gives me something to hunt for, otherwise this game is just point, click, pick up, repeat. The rewards are crap but at least you are given reason to hunt in places you havent been.
