this is another whinning thread if u dont want to read it get it out now.
When i returned and made a post, someone said that I should get a clan to group; I didnt think that was necessary, until yesterday...
Here is the story:
I was lfg in Aden, when i saw a group looking for a bd lvl 65+, since i had no luck in finding a group, i pmed the pt leader asking to join, cus i have most of the important bd dances.
He invited me without asking all the other members i guess, cus when I joined the group i saw one of the members messages: "Fine but if he dies its his problemn".
In a normal day i would have left the group at next second
but I was desperate for groups and I pretended that i didnt read the message.
We went for silenos stronghold, (mobs lvl 65+ i guess);
the group was formed by members of the same big alliance which name i wont post because this isnt the objective of this thread;
For almost 40 minutes we hunted there in complete silence, as a talkative type i tryed to start a pt conversation but got no answer of members ( my guess is that they were using clan or alliance chat only);
Some minutes later i had a problemn with my pc and got d/c;
I took around 10 minutes to log back;
To my surprise, when i returned to the game I was alone and surrounded by mobs that were hitting me so ,in panic , I started running looking for my the group to get help ( thanks god I have +8 cons because he mobs hit hard there) ,I searched around and didnt see any of them, so when I was almost dying I saw them far down at the stronghold and hadn t other choice as to use bsoe;
I think that they should have hunt near the area where I got d/c, that was a total disrespect to a party member IMO;
I guess that If I were in the same alliance they could have waited for me;
It is sad that people are honorable only to allies/clannies..

I think that would be the crux of the matter.
Some clans claim to have a great conduct but actually just hold that up high 'inhouse'. Just be glad you didn't drop anything... (yes I'm still ******, see my whine thread. So sue me. :p ).
Not all clans / alliances are that way though, so don't just lose hope completely. :)
just dont party them again :eek:as a bd u shouldnt have the biggest probs in finding a decent grp
yeah very true. I've found my way into some very bad parties. I just make sure I know who the party leader is and the types of ppl in the party before I consider joining the party. Some groups.. I refuse to join.

+8 Con?! jeeze, i just couldn't imagine killing mobs without my -8 from tats and -2 from tallum heavy for a total of -10 con.......perhaps you should switch it around like mine is :P, i can solo faster than any grp i have even been in.
But as for your pty you had, that is horrible, i have been in several pty's *only when i'm rly bored and need a pty to talk to :P -or- my ally needs me* where a person d/c and never came back, but we gave them the benifit of the doubt and stayed in the d/c spot for an hour *and these are both ally and mixed clan pty's i'm refering too* after that pty left the spot cuz it was disbanding anyway :P and personaly if they don't mention anything about leaveing, i think this is how it should be done out of common curtosy *sp*

actually i have -9 str ( +4 dex -4 str, +3 cons-3 str, +2 cons -2 dex)
with doom armor i have +8 cons
-9 str may seems bad but with +4 dex, i do more crits, and at pvp u need to stay alive the most u can, with -8 cons as u are ( im not sure if u are) you will die easily to a nuker and be stunned like hell
I was in that party. There were three core, two wildcard, and two untagged people. Microbrew was party leader and is untagged. He was autofollowing you when we were resting/afk and you must've lagged and ran off or something cause micro ended up dying to mobs far away from us. Since we were sorta afk we didn't know where you dced... we waited awhile and you didn't come back.
That sound a little cold Shatei....couldn't you have waited around where Micro died and been closer to where he logged in? I'm not in game right now Yath, still embroidering the scarlet A onto my armor, or I'd get you into a good party. I highly recommend partying with any of the Patriots clan or Aegis alliance, even if they are ****** at me right now. They are good peeps and will treat you right.
Yath...I know that most allies do not treat peeps that are unclanned that way. Yes...there is always a bad apple in good alliances or you may find a bad apple group. All I can say is...watch who you pt with.
As the fact that you are considered family in Evolution Alliance and Sanctuary Clan...feel free to PM some of us and ask for us to shout in ally chat for you to get a pt. You don't need a clan, but peeps are trying to do more clan/alliance peeps than grouping non clanned. A clan is a reccommended way of finding a pt tho.
Anyways....<3 and next time...send me an email about it. I will be more than willing to talk to anyone who has the nerve to treat someone so unkind.
If a party member dc's it is common courtesy to wait until he returns. But waiting for 10 minutes is quite long. I have found many to give up at that point. Now I have waited for 30 minutes now and then for non allied party members to come back, but I am to much of a carebear. :D

i didnt post the alliance name in this topic because i didnt want to
make people discuss about one alliance actitude my post was oriented to all players
of the server ;you shoudlnt have said the alliance name.
When i logged back i told to zoolu what happened, its not my fault he
didnt say that i logged back and bsoed to the group.

you didnt have to name any clan there because it was a mixed group, there is no reason to single out a clan. It sucks you were forgotten but shiit happens. I know when I'm in groups and people DC I will wait a [censored] hour if I have to unless I don't realize they DCed, which happens :(, or sometimes I'll ask someone in party and they will say he logged out in a safe spot and I'll be all like "ok, lets go." It sucks, but shiit happens. There is no real good reason to make a post on it. You are not the only person this kind of thing has happened to. People have misunderstandings or are just not all there mentally.......like shat :p

Why would any BD want dex at the expence of str?
As for the matter, silenos are 80+ loc, i'm 72 and only a few mobs at entrance are pink instead of blood red.
As for me i absolutely never party with people i dont know and since i know many group is never a problem. However, when i get DCed for longer that 3 minutes i log inwith my alt and pm group leader asking if they are ok and on same spot, intead of logging in,which could be more a problem in certain circumstancesthan a good thing to do, since you can easily bring a train and a group will die trying to save you.
the str of your criticals are based off of your str. Good. You do crit more. But it's weaker criticals.
I've been wondering about that...lowering base damage is going to lower the final damage, regardless of all those multipliers, by the same percentage. Meh, whatever makes people happy.
So, now when I think about it.. because of my +4 dex +4 str. I probably in the long or short run for that matter do more dmg.
As I said before, you willd eam more dmg, which is good for pve, but at pvp( siege) you wont last long, in the end its a choice between dealing more dmg or surviving more, i prefer survive more to buff my group a biot longer; if u prefer to deal more dmg its good too, but keep in mind that bd is mainly a buffer class, we deal less dmg than an archer, mage or dagger.

Also depends on how good you are at sieges too. With my -8 con the most i've died in a siege is 3 times. If you want to buff that's fine, I can still hang back.. Kill those that get close and buff.
