My newest reroll is an Orc Raider and I'm just realizing how awesome the orcs are.
I wonder why so few play an orc? (lets keep the Ranged PvP out of it for a once :p )
My raider while only lvl 20 atm is nothing short of a Beast in everything I've tryed so far including PvP. He's not even clad in the best gear, just Brig top/bottom, elf jewelry and 2h sword :p
Can't wait to see how it gets post 52 when Destroyers get some of their far greater skills.
You mean like with slow leveling and slow running that kind of stuff?
Meh, It should be ok. I plan to keep him almost exclusively in the catas. Also leveling a twilight hatch should be easier there. I can solo in a NoS right now at a good pace.
Only pain I see coming is the next 3 CC quests. :p

My friend says the same about his new Raider. loves 2handed swords and massive damage, plus got a glaive and has fun poling.
I just discovered the monk class, and im loving it. Hard concept see a fast moving orc, let alone having some basic skills I only got at lvl 40+ on my gladi. From what i read in skills list, tryant will have off hand what gladiator wishes he had in the beginning, self swift attack skill. I made a LA gladiator so being in LA on my Monk nothing new to me.
Before u prejudge the orc, take a moment to accually read the skills. Might be surprized.
I think orcs are the least chosen race, because most people want to look pretty -in the traditional sense. Orcs aren't "pretty", but in my opinion, they are beautiful :D Very well built too!
If my first clan on Teon hadn't needed an SE so badly, I'd have gone warcrier (or Destroyer, since I've already tried Tyrant) for sure. But instead I got to sub one :D

I have never seen a chubby Orc, maybe your looking under the table at the males or something? To bad I'm not on Bartz, we could meet in the arena and everybody could watch you die. lol I'll even let you choose which of my Orcs you would like to die from, OL, Destro or Tyrant. :)
Wouldnt die to the tyrant, the other two stand a good chance of beating me tho, depending on their lvl.
Orcs are inferior to humans, thats why we rule supreme and you scrub my dishes for 1adena per hour.
I would never scrub a dead Gladiator's dishes. I would throw them on top of your dead body to be taken out to the dump along with your badly mangled body. hehe

Though you don't get all that many active skills to keep track of :)

glads have their role.. any orc played right can beat any other class. including nuker they r just tough class to play (they require thought)
What do i need M def for if you cant even pull of a spell without me being in yo face and cancelling you :D
orcs have high men and high hp. men determines cancel rate. with unbuffed glads they usually die before they reach me and the ones who do never really cancel me
for buffed ones I just hit heavy as they swing at me, p def jumps to 970. when they r done switch back to robes and countine

I suspect that when the duelists start hitting lvl 78 there will be people on forums moaning big style, the new focus charge spell sounds so awsome.
I am sorry Glad, as a Tyrant we have almost the same new skill sets for 3rd class change, and I'd tell you our 3rd class change skill sets suck compared to what other classes get.

I've yet to lose a fight against a puny Gladiator lol :P Orcs > humans big time. And look at my sig, if that aint hotness, you're blind or have weird preferences ;)
Btw, 1vs1 OL is the best class in this game imho, Soul Cry+Soul Guard rocks any melees, especially with the drains, seals and selfbuffing abilities and only the necro poses a threat from nuker classes in 1vs1 fights ^^
Orcs are by far THE dominant race in this game. In a race war they would dominate, as long as everyone didn't run like ******* :p. Seriously Orcs have it all except Mental Shield buff (which can be provided with a staff SA :)) and run speed....well Tyrants are the fastest class in game but they still can't make up for the rest.
I can say that WC has a chance to beat any other class. We have a wide range of attacks and defenses. I can also say that human melee's are as easy as dwarfs. All human melee's.
Actually WS with there stun and Golum can be a nasty thing to contend with. I've managed to do some damage.
BH may not be great in conventional combat, but fake death is a great pvp skill.
yea, ive learned WS can be dangerous with their **** golems. But if you kill the golem first, provided you don't get stunned into submission, they go down with relative ease. Its just that **** golem :p
The dwarves would win a race competition anyway, since we always side with the strongest... or the strongest always depend on us, dunno which. ^^

I feel the dwarves would play both sides of the coin on this, I view them as arms dealers. Supplying weapons to both sides in a war, as a war is good profit for them. Matter of fact....
The dwarfs may start the distrust between races in hope for a war to break out.
To play an orc, you need to know the meaning of pain and enjoy the feeling of it.

I knew about slow run speed and slow leveling speed, bleh blah bleh, so I expected that and it does not bother me.......
however..........
one thing that I completely forgotten about was the size of an Orc Male. So yesterday I saw what a pain an Orc can produce. I wasn't fighting. I wasn't running, I wasn't having any technical issues.............
the Pain as I now know as a Male Orc is this.........Navigating in Giran is now very hard to virtually impossible. I actually had to at one point make a detour and run around the the other side just to get to the WH as no matter what I've tryed, I couldn't get past the shops sitting on the **** stairway. :eek:

Orcs are ugly is NOT a fact, and you can argue the point until your blue in the face and people will still disagree with you.
