What mob drops spellbooks Solar Flare, Aura Bolt, Shadow Flare?
In c3 they were droped by Zaken's Pickemans. C4 data bases say that Nightmare Guide drop it. I almost got a lvl on that mobs, picked up lot of stuff but no books at all. I tried pickemans - same result...
Drop rate on the books was very low on zaken pikeman in C3. So one lvl at 40-45 range is probably not enough. Keep trying and good luck.

3 books in 4 hrs for duo TH (a bit high lvl for lure and tanking, also buffed by EO) and sps. (pretty high killing speed, pulling pike guys w/ some swimming usually)

does that mean the pikers still drop in c4? I have killed them for the last 2 levels, not a single book :(
in C4 only Nightmare Guide from the west side of giran drops Shadow Flare 1/350, Solar Flare 1/595 and Aura Bolt 1/320 or so.
No other mobs drops those books.
But an SH'er with emp2 + zerk2 + INT dye and Demon set can one-shot the whole group of Nightmare mobs, with a Tempest spell..... they are 1/2 HP mobs.
