Im not here to diss on any1 but theres alot of ppl on this server that dont know how to pvp at all.That same ppl are the ones that go berzerk on a showdown.Go ahead and check next time you get on a pvp.
Its not bad not to pvp but every1 now and then go to arena.Practice makes perfect(BTW there you dont loose xp :D)That way when the times comes,your not completly lost.Thats why I love the guys from Divine,they always practicing.How did I forget BnK as well do alot of practicing(or at least both clans did in the past)
Another idea is use your surrounding.Ppl tend to forget about the elements but they are there for a reason.A person following cant touch you if your running around a rock or tree or building.(theres goes my succesful pvp secrets)
Is just that I dont get any good pvps.Pvps as of today are mostly based on gate-hoping or 20v5.
Another thing is use your range wisely.Dont get up close to your target when you know you can either nuke or double shot him from a distance(yes I know I use alot you in that sentence).It just discuss me to see an archer getting close to a freaking melee.Also remember when the person is stunned,use your daggers.I know there gimp but they still do alot of dmg at a higher rate than what you think.
I don't know abou tthe whole HIndemith is a total pve server not pvp. I bet we could put together 10 solid groups of pvpers and challenge just about anyone. There has been a lot of pvp going on in the past 2 weeks, and good pvp by all sides. **** if we didn't almost wipe a 30 member epoch raid group with our 15 people raid group, but their **** bishop wouldnt die and ally rezzed em all and then wiped us. Was by far the best pvp of the war, and alas, probably the last due to Domisun leaving the L2 community soon. Kudos to epoch(and oblivion btw) for a great 2 weeks of fun pvp. Maybe some other alliances will turn up the heat and make this server a little active again.
yea man. Just because the majority of the server avoids PvP it doesn't mean we don't have at least 100 people on this server who LIVE for PvP and are high lvl, nicely equipped, and skilled and knowledgable in the way of killing ignorant fools :p. I've seen and have been in some really fun and involving PvPs. Anyway most of what people think is PvP in this game, and particularly on other servers, I refer to as griefing. PvP is warring and fighting equal lvl players

Yes, something we noticed is you don't seem to have many (or any at all?) Bishops :p They are a very, very nice addition in pvp.
On the PTS, the best server, group-wise that I saw was Sieghart's people. Then again, it might only be because they ran around 20 deep at any given time killing anything that wore a tag from a different server. And I don't feel that was very good pvp anyways on the PTS, but I digress.
Our server has a lot of good pvp players on it. I think all the servers have good pvpers on them. It will more come down to who has the most practice against players their level than who has the most practice griefing and ganking lower level players.
PTS is NO good indicator of PvP skills at all. Most people on PTS are trying out new classes or screwing around. Good PvP requires teamwork and knowledge of your classes and of your enemies. PTS I'm sure most were classes they normally would never be and just joined any group out there and never got well grounded with a group of people.

Bartz isn't afraid to /allywar and their big fights are always fair. They don't sit there for an hour gathering as many people as they can, they go in 9 deep and fight even.

Yeah it'll be great when we're all necro's some day sieging eachother. 200 of the same class battling out. Then we can discuss pvp SKILLS, TACTIC, AND NUMBERS influencing the battle. Right now its numbers of specific classes...which is pathetic.

I think any and all servers could EASILY come up with 100 great and competant PvPers. I don't believe for one second it would be no competition.
I think the larger player base will offer better class options for some servers. As Oranj put it, name the lvl 76+ Necro's on Hindemith...Ok see, that's gonna be a LOT of trouble when you fight Bartz...
