if you want cheap character. daggers are somehow cheaper (it depends 800 attack speed makes you waste a lot of SS).
SH is probably the easiest class to play and quite cheap.
ES has a nice potent, though.
Yeah I would say Dark mystic towards SH, you can find things to two shot without bsps if you are looking for money. Also perhaps SE, forget if you mentioned that up there, but not too much bsps/ss spam for them either, just buff and hang around for 20minutes in group :P Of Course you could get a good weapon on a SE and go to town with everyone else.
Also seen buffers charging for buffs in towns, or my ever favorite:"I will follow buff and heal you oop for all the drops" . Seems like a nice way to make some money there.
seriously. as a summoner, either you spam shots or your summon does, NOT BOTH. while both may sound cool, and you'll level fast, you'll also go very, very broke. also, while that 10% summon may look tempting to level with, don't c crystals are expensive, and again, you'll go broke.
actually, if you are getting short on money, stop spamming shots altogether. yeah, you'll level slow, but you'll also make adena hand over fist, ESPECIALLY if you are using the manor at the same time.
Yes, please reroll an archer or nuker. Do what every 15 year old kid has done so they can pvp. F1,F2 ooo maybe a cancel or silence in between. Won't bother telling you what class i am greatness is a path only some can enjoy. Feel bad for all them sps reroll babies that lay on the floor for me.
But Necros have no party buff called Blessing of Queen, which in archer/melee parties is SICK. Added crit rate AND crit damage. Also Warlocks get party cubic and they have a self cubic that paralyzes people, an quite often I might add. And that regular PvP-type cat they have is one tough SOB. Warlocks are INSANE, there just aren't enough out there, let along skilld enough to impress, that people don't realize their uberness.

Hum how about stating which sort of character you prefer, BD is always a good choice if you like grouping. SE would be a good option as well but you rely even more on groups with him. If you prefer to deal damage and esp. for pvp go Nuker/Archer.
Basicly the only class that can get away without spending a lot of money on SS is the healer. Especially the prophet. Buff every 20 minutes, sit a lot, make xp, make money while sitting. Spend not a single ss.
If you hate doing nothing, may I advise the SE? They are very wanted by almost every party and economical as well.

Not everyone is lazy prophet. And most lazy prophets are only buffpets/2boxes.

Not every SE is a lazy one as well. Especially when they are needed to keep people alive.
Still lazy or not, they have to manage mp (limiting the time they can spend wasting ss) and their whacking is so low (I was dismayed in finding out my EE with ss did less damage then a DD same level without ss that I gave up on even trying to do more then token damage) that for a healer to use ss for combat is wasteful. No way that I am expecting them to do that.
I do 55% dmg of same lvl BD in Agr. Thats not so bad imo. If you have crystalstaff ofcourse you will do crapy dmg. But if you get dd weapon, dd buffs and maye dd dyes you will do decent dmg which will help and in small groups it will be noticable. I agree that in full groups proph needs to sit. But in smaller ones He can dd. And I use dagger and use more SS cuz of attack speed than lot of true DDs. And DDs with Bgr weapon make more money than me with Agr dagger...
I just dont like statemnt that prophs are "buffs eevry 20minutes and leech". Cuz i say nukers in groups are much bigger leechers, SEs in good group where VR does all the healing do much less work than sitting proph who atleast has to buff more buffs and has to sit/stand. How many SEs fight if their heals are not neccessary and how many prohps fight if they regen enough while fighting. etc etc

I am a SE in heart and when I played I would help in anyway I could (using a bow). Basically I would loose more cash in parties as I would shoot (with soulshot)/heal (with Blessed) then the rest of the party. Allso with DD-mobs I would cast Wind Shackle to slow it down a bit for a short time. BTW VR4 did help me manage MP's good enough to buff a group of 9 with all needed buffs per class if no Prophet/OL/Warcryer was grouped.
Currently I am somewhat retired tho. Guess I got tired of people asking for buffs (love the extra downtime I have then.. not). Besides becoming a nobble -> hero is fruitless as I would have to try to become a hero on a healer-class.. Don't think that will happen soon.

If you want to be a DD there are only 2 choices, nuker or archer. Anything else is pointless in PVP until NCsoft wakes up and fixes the ranged vs melee PVP problems.
