Can I delevel without loosing my skills?

Hello,
I am 28lvl, but a friend want to start new character, and I want to help him.
Can I delevel to lvl 12-15 for example without loosing my skills?

At some point you do lose them but I can't remember how many lvls... it's something like 5 or 10 lvls difference.

You can safly delevel 9 levels's from last skill lv you where at, fater then that you lose them.

So,
If I delevel to 19 I will not lost anything.
If I delevel to 15 will I lost all my skills, the skills will be deleveled.
Example:
I have lvl 9 Power Strike.
If I delevel to 15 will I have lvl 5 Power Strike, or I will lost it at all?

Do you have any graded equipment? Because if you do delevel to 15 you will loose your grade skill, and you will get slapped with a grade penalty. Which will make you as slow as a orc.

I have full d-grade set, but I am sure that I can use it under 20 lvl, cuz I died right after I become lvl 20, and I was able to use the d-grade equipment without penalty.
I don't know If i delevel more than 1 lvl under 20.
And btw, I'm already Orc:)

exactly... though if you delvl to 18 you lost it since you are lvl 28 (that being 10 lvls). Also, don't forget what splatter said, there are penalties for wearing armor "out of your grade" (and if you delvl to the point you get penalties then you are out of your grade).

You could just make a new character where your friend is, party with him until he gets higher then he can party with your main and get better adena until he is closer.

You wont lose it right after deleveling, but if you relog the d grade mastery will be gone.

No, you will be slapped with a grade penalty believe me i know.....

It will be as your orc has a overweight penalty of level 2.

in your case you can de-level to lvl 16 without losing your skills.
but if you get below lvl 20 you wont be able to use D grade equipment anymore.

why delvl just because u wanna lvl wwith ur friend?

1-20 usual goes faster solo than in group

oh and u didnt say what ur class is

u get penalty right after u r lower than lvl 20, i always deleveled to earn adena. i juz help a friend to lvl up, and i found it took longer in groups than solo to lvl up, so i think best ur friend lvl up by himself, besides he got to learnt the lore of lineage himself. (more exciting and rewarding)
