Does anyone know how much time does Raid Curse lasts?

I have heard that it lasts both one hour and two hours.
Although not 'curable,' it will disappear if you die. Some folks have suggested going to the areana, dieing (0 xp lost,) and curing it that way.

When I've been silenced, it was for 1 hr.
