so i searched, and searched, and then i searched some more... but i did not find what i was looking for. I want to know if there is a way for me to equip an item through a macro. As a glad i would love to have a macro that (a) equips my blunt (b) uses a stun skill (c) re-equips my duals (d) starts attacking again. Can this be done? Thanks for the help!
1st, add the "weapon" to your hotbar so it makes an icon,
drag that icon to the desired line in your macro.
If it doesnt autofill, then you cant do it.
Can be done, is fairly common, but personally I'm iffy about macros that take more than a second to run during combat--any input from you will break the macro, remember.
If you still want to do it...
Drag your blunt to the hotbar, for example on bar 8 slot 1.
Drag your dualsword to the hotbar, for example on bar 8 slot 2.
Then macro:
1- /useshortcut 8 1
2- /useskill Hammer Crush
3- /useshortcut 8 2
4- /attack
Delay in first section helps in making the macro smoother, the second delay is needed for re-equipping the weapon since otherwise it says that you cannot equip while skill is still in use(meaning that hammer crush skills visual effect hasnt finished yet = you cannot switch weapon.)
This macro isnt however that good in pvp since 1 click during it stops it. I just change between hotbars to use different weapons/skills, much safer that way.
Sometimes miskliking those makros will leave you wearponless..
I had situations when switching from pole to blunt+shield makro and ended up with shield only.. All the items were on the right shortcuts for makros.
Lol, sometimes i end up with no wearpon klicking the wearpopn on shrtcut bar :p . That's why when in situation when i switch wearpons i have my inventory window up to see what i have on me ;)
