Karmian is much cheaper - around 1.5mil all in all if you have a friendly Bounty Hunter who can spoil the glove fabrics for you. It's nice for buffing up faster - the difference between a healer set and a proper cast speed set is very noticable.
The divine has a bigger total MP pool, which is nice, but lower casting speed, and is more expensive at around 3mil total depending on your serverl.
Yes, your choice of set is depedant upon the amount of $$$ you have. Also, if you have no patience or time for crafting (like me :D) you can purchase the robes/stockings of both sets at the luxury store in Giran. Although I think its called something different now, valuable items shop? Something like that :p
