1. Orc Destroyers are counted as DD?
2. Shouldn't DD's wear light armor?
3. How do you lvl a Clan?
4. How do you make yer way to be a millionaire in this game? o.o
5. Is it essential to upgrade yer SS when you reach higher lvls?
6. Can you increase drop-rate from mobs somehow?
7. Are there any type of mounts (you can rent) other than Striders that you raise on yer own?
8. Wich Classes are the most popular in this game when it comes to PvP, Sieges and such, and why?

:D
1. Yes.
2. No, only some.
3. You talk to a master type NPC, he should have options for it and tell you what you do. Level 1 and 2 require cash and SP. Level 3 requires a Proof of Blood and SP. Level 4 and 5 require a quest, which will require the clan to cooperate, and possibly SP.
4. Very patiently, through niches. Any advice you hear in public will be void within a few days, as you're not the only one trying to exploit the niche any more.
5. If you get a higher grade weapon, you will not be able to use your old SS anymore.
6. No.
7. No.
8. Nukers, archers and buffers. Because they have 900 range and don't need to worry about anything catching them.
1. DD+ meatshield (personaly I prefere to call that role tanker)
4. What Maline said + and luck also helps here.
6. Get a skavie/BH, they have a skill which unlocks a second drop list (spoils)

Hmm, DD's rely on strength not defense... why should they wear heavy armor? And it only slows them down, doesn't it?
And about nr: 8, that doesn't sound very balanced and fair against close-up-fighters... lika all melee lol o.o

Anyway, thx for the answers :D

If they have heavy armor masteries it doesnt slows them down. It just gives more PDef instead of few evasions, and destroyers have a low dex, so little or no evasion.

As obvious as that conclusion sounds, it's apparently still being digested in certain circles.

Destroyer doesn't have to be melee, though, so don't stress too much.
There are heavy armour sets (such as majestic and blue wolf) tailored towards damage-dealing classes. Love them, use them.

A destroyer can use a bow to great effect - they're very dangerous when properly equipped.

The Destroyer of the orc race is the tank.... The Tyrant is the DD.

And yes tyrants do wear light armor as thats the mastery they have.

1. Yes.

No, the destroyer is the tank of the orc race.

No, the destroyer is the tank of the orc race.

But are they tanks when compared to Temple Knights, or are they more like Gladiators?

Unless you're strictly partying with your own race, it only matters in the general sense.
The destroyer is the tank of the orc race plain and simply put.
No, the Destroyer is the DD of the Orc race and Tyrant is the Archer/Dagger hybrid of the Orc race so to speak. Destroyer skills _lower_ pdef and raise pattk, there's nothing "tank" about that.

Simply put: Destroyer = Damage Dealer, other melee classes = something less.

Splatter, you are one of the few ethnocentric players in this game. I'm putting this in the most constructive way I can manage--it doesn't matter one bit to 99% of the community if they are "the tanks of the orc race" if, in every party they join, they will be functioning as a damage-dealer.

Do they play as a tank, a DD, or a hybrid? Are they expected to take hits, score kills, or do a little of both?

Whether or not they are the most tank-like of the orcs doesn't matter--nobody's going to care what race someone picked, nor how they stack up compared to other classes within their race, just what they can do on the fields of Aden.
The orc race has no tank - and both its mages are more suitable to tanking than the destroyer.

A tank must
1.) Absorb damage by either restoring HP en masse (Shaman, Summoner) or taking little damage (Knights).
2.) Keep hate (Servitor hate bonus, Aggression).

A destroyer excels as neither, packs an impressive punch with damage though.

He is a DD.
DD tanks buffed w/ VR (and WC has VR) are very popular nowadays.
Even dagger (esp. TH) can tank decently on green mobs (pls, real tanks dont laught, I dont deny your role). Also I noticed the effect of 'Lure' is quite high hate-wise.
BDs make also good tanks but a bit stun prone.

>>A destroyer excels as neither, packs an impressive punch with damage though.
Which coupled w/ VR keeps amazing 13k+ HP there. High punch means keeping the aggro on oneself. Also it seems skills like TSS, DB, etc have lower effect on mob AI.
A PW can keep his HP up on green mobs too with VR.

Would you call him a tank?
