Mana Potion

hi all.i am new in official.i would like to know general imformations about mana potion.u can buy it?u can craft it?drop?where i can find it?thx for help

Yup, they do not exist.

At one point they were listed in one of the old Prima guides but that was the extent of it.

You can still find 'mana potion' listed in some data bases, but these have never been put into the game. The reason would seem to be that hunting is both HP limited (melee) and mana limited (ranged, and special melee attacks.) HP potions exist, and if mana potions also existed, many folks would be able to hunt non-stop. The absence of mana potions means that folks have to take a break sometime in their hunting. Folks would burn-out too quickly if hunts were unbroken by some rest periods.

Part of it is the balance too.

Even with Body 2 mind I have to take some rests. But as a melee on the PTS I could hunt non-stop with healing potions.

However, mages (archers?) kill faster. So that might be why there aren't any.

Truth be told, when I first started this game I wanted them but now I realize there is no need.

Hmmm don't think so. but I did put 7x when I turned 70 and then thougth to myself that that was a bit too misleading since the discrepancy between 70 and 75 (78 now) is so large that I didn't want to be misleading.

So, I will just list the levels as they come.

BUT;
it will take like 10min to enable 'em for an event... presently no mobs drop 'em and no npc sells. but they exist: both as item id, as texture and as efffect.
there is a huge diff. to enable smth than implementing from scratch.

How do you know?

I could of sworn I saw a white/blueish looking pot that looked like a healing pot a long time ago in one of the npc grocery stores and it said mana pot. But this was in previous prelude, like C2 or earlier. I could be wrong... I'm pretty sure I'm not, but I could be :confused:

WOW! And they have "Mana Drug". These items might have been made prior to the game going beta (or were accessible in beta?) but the developers didn't like how they affected the game...

mana drug... manaaaa druuuuug.... That might get me to lvl 75 by Friday :)

lol healing drug and mana drug reminds me of when I used to play Last Kingdoms way back when.

On PTS Chaos Week mobs dropped Mana scrolls = instantly full mp.

Please NC if there ever is going to be an event like the L2Day was, do not have mana scrolls drop!
