I'm back from 2 years of not playing.
Several guys at work played L2 but we all left due to poor CS, server lag, and poor CS.
My friend at work started playing last night so I decided to resubscribe.
Just wondering if the server lag, bug, or CS has gotten any better?

It was stable in C3, but now it seems laggy again, but others are fine it only seems to have affected a few. You wont know untill you load it up and see will ya?
One more question, but replying here instead of making another post.
I'm making a Dark Elf but I can't decide on Male or Female.
I found a website that let you preview each type of armor on each race male and female. It was a french site and I'm pretty sure I got the link here.
Any thoughts?
Server lag is very likely to depend on what server you're on.
On Hindemith, at random, portions of the server lag for a second to a full minute. Only rarely does it last for more than a few seconds, although on very rare occasions it has lasted several minutes.
Note that it's only portions of the server--NPC's, Player Actions, Items, etc will only have issues one at a time while the rest functions normally.
Other servers may have an entirely different experience.
Good news is that there aren't a log of major bugs running rampant. Customer Service, which I'm assuming you meant by CS, is inconsistent--sometimes fast, sometimes slow; sometimes helpful and sometimes unsigned-form-answer-to-the-wrong-question. Good luck!

I realize there is a small difference in stats between male and female, I believe it was said that DE Male was the fastest runner.
Looks matter to me though, thats why I want to see what certain armor will look like on male and female toons.
I found the armor viewer on the korean site.
I'm definatly going DE Female Bladedancer.
I have a nekkin lv22 Human Knight, going DA. I don't think I'm going to play him.
Looking at the skills for all the different classes, DA looks funnest. Plus, I always liked using Duals over 1h/shield.
