As may remember me from such threads such as "All you archers out there" and "Hindemith PVP [Poll within]" but today I am going to talk to you about something important Archers, more specifically an Archer Clan. With the revelation of Blessing Level 3 and a few encouragements.
I am pleased to announce that Leviathn will be picking up where Quicksilver left off [for those of you who don't know, SilverSun quit for RFO] (they were a high source of my archer parties :( )
So I take up his torch and will carry on :)
So with out further anticipation I would like to make it offical that I will be turning my clan into an Archer Division of AG :) *Free kitty buffs to Clannies*

On a more serious note; yes, there are Warlock bots out there now, highlvl. They use Queen. Doubt you have to worry about them doing the hero thing though, unless they sell the account(s) to real players. Happely they do not use ES, since botting a nuker is more hard in a cata party :p (ack! just realized I shouldnt tell RG about Seraphim..)

Looks like a guy named interrogator will be owning the olympiad soon! But don't worry, I made him lose a good 20% that afternoon. He was also part of the slowest killing botgroup I had ever seen. The only warlock that kills slower than them is my clanmember Ivelios.

Well I don't see bots using the cat just for mp recharging in a three man party that only has a BH, a supposed warlock and a SE. I've seen that party killing mobs and I can assure you the cat was the main damage dealer. Moreover, I don't see the level 35 variant of that cat doing over 100 damage on a badass (or badegg as farmers used to say) pirate like myself.

don't worry drekk, farmers will add their list of warlocks to their SWS and BD in their botter groups. Don't blind yourself either, you can see how much that pet is hitting him for in that screenshot on a 6x glad.
Sorry to hijack that topic :p (I don't like the general forum for some reason...) I'm wondering about my nuker, if I should go sorc or warlock ( I'm the kind who doesn't like to do like everybody else so necro is totally out of question), but my clan leader is like "noooo, warlocks, bad!", sooo... as a big warlock, try to talk me into it Drekk, see if you can convince me to go warlock and not sorc :)

lol... sorry, just couldn't see the weapon and looked more probably it's a gladiator than a TH because of the rareness. But my point still stands, a lvl 35 summon wouldn't be hitting you.

that bot clearly wasn't high level at all >.> if you been hit by a atleast a 60 + Summon using SS ... you would be recieve alot more than 150 dmg @.@ especially using light armor. Come to arena? Ask anyone who has been hit by my Mew, her claws are nasty.

To go warlock you got to make the choice to go yourself, when you go warlock its not an easy class even now with the c4 upgrades, controlling 2 chars in PVP and PVE can get a bit tricky and not as easy as the "point to kill" sorcs.
As for feeling special Goriz? I still feel special, seeing as I have yet to see these bots and I doubt any are 70 + and everyday i get closer and closer to closing the gap between me and 75. I doubt there are any 75 warlocks (even if you botted all day and night it would take a little longer than a month botting on farmable mobs) to reach 75. AND if there is and someone DOES by a farmber botted Warlock account (which there are no reports of) He/she will make an un-expected enemy.
But Goriz seeing as more people like to purchase characters from your class ;) I don't see myself in any danger any time soon.

Warlocks are very useful in archer and melee groups, at least you'll find in latter levels. The good thing is there aren't many Warlocks right now, there were litterally only 2 before Chronicle 4 came about. So it's a very good underplayed class, however the BD, SWS, healer, and buffer all come first though. Well maybe not healer if you have VR and cat buffs :P
But it's your play style. Simply put. Do you like having your summon be your main weapon, while only supporting with heals and some weak dd? Or do you like simply 2-shotting mobs repetitively as a Sorcerer? Or would you like to have strength yourself, by having a summon but play like a Sorcerer only just have a summon for PvP as a Necromancer?
It really is your choice, but the easiest classes to play are Sorcerer and Necromancer. And Necromancer moreso :P
I have played Warlock as my main since prelude/c1 and up untill c3 i had almost nothing but contempt for it. But I can comment and say as far as enjoyability goes I can be really fun. There arn't alot of warlocks around so not ALOT of players get to experience a warlock in their party but those who do find it like a drug and keep coming back for more.
If you make the right connections finding a party will be no problem, and untill a flood load of warlocks appear the parties will find you. Each summon can play a differnt role , and thats really the theme of a Warlock its flexability. A warlock's pets are a many classes ALL rolled into one little package, you play the role of many classes. You will find that alot of Warlock skills are actually copies of other classes skill but made specifically for a pet, so in actual fact its like a constant duo.
Summoner = prophet + SE
Mew the cat = Nuker + Tyrant
Kat the cat = SE + Tank
Kai the cat = PW (speed) + sps (freezing skin)
Queen the cat = BD + SWS + SE (partial purification)
This allows for alot of choices even in mass PVP you can choose to play either support or DD or you can solo/party you can pretty much play the class anyway you want now.
The Lvl 77 + 78 skills also mimic the tyrant frenzy( i think thats what the skill is called) skill also paired up with Ultimate Defense the class is just a little bit of everything.

thats the meeting ground for all summoners where we sit and converse about our class and differnt methods , warning though some summoners can be a bit.... err whats the word "pig headed" when it comes to the class and feel they know everything about it... ignore them. Anyone can put a unique spin on a summoner (except ehli who feels the need to copy me :P EVEN WITH THE KITTY EARS!)

About WoW - the WoW Warlock cannot be compared a lot with the Warlock in Lineage2. Just the pets, but not by a lot. It'd be more fitting to compare it with the Necromancer. Necromancer however is very much overplayed lately. If you want to be a unique class I do not recommend rolling one. If you think that's fine, then by all means, go have fun.

At first in C4, people didn't party with you because you smell like used kitty litter. Then word got of your buffs, and they learned to carry Febreze.
