I'm new to Lineage ][, well technically I played in open beta but the never actually subscribed until now . . . anyhow, I've been playing for about 3 days now and other than people with numbers in their name who don't answer, I'm not doing to well in the meeting other people department.
So I'm sending a shout out to any other newbie who may want to team up or just chat. I'm a dwarf (and adena challenged at that) and working through some of the beginner quests to earn enough to get some decent gear and skills.
So if you're out there let me know, it gets lonely in the snow.
BTW, are there any directions on how to use the community options in game. maybe something like, "to add someone to your freinds list . . . do this"
Once you get to 20 or so, maybe even lower leave dwarf town and head to gludio or dion. Dion actually has a decent economy and i think the manor is up and running now.
I was in the orc town till my class change, went to the main land then came back... Reduced my levels by 10 so i could get some adena. Now i'm level 24 and working on heading back to the mainland.

I love my orc town.. :)
the quests there are intended for NG horrible way to try and make money for D.
I don't play too often (too many other games take my time) but if I see you around I'll say hello. Lionna is a nice server though so you should have a good time. And don't worry, you'll run into more people when you get into the main part of the world!
I have a dwarf alt in dwarfland at lvl 15...give me a shout anytime. I play him at least three or four hours per week. If I can give you a hand I'll be glad to.
Hang in there...you'll be leaving very soon.
Hi there! I'm new as well - about two months and have two characters at 20 now. I'm a fairly casual player and I too haven't really made any friends yet :( Occasionally i'll try and search for other LFG peeps in my lvl range and it always comes up with a big fat zero. I decided to concentrate on my human knight ...umm yeah it would be nice to have an intelligent person to chat/party with so hopefully i'll see ya in game.
You're near dion now right? it's not a hugely populated town but it's reasonable. Also i know one of my roomies is rerolling a necro, big change from his BH main, and he's hunting in FT and necropolis of sacrifice, he's grouping a decent amount so i know there's folks there.

What's your name? Unfortunately, without a /who type command it's hard seeing whose on, but I can keep an eye out for you.
Best thing you can do for yourself is horde your materials while you are young. Hot mats right now are Varnish and Iron. Collect as much as you can(Find a monster that spoils them and stay there, delevel if necessary). WALK to Giran(or use the teleport scroll quest to Giran) and find the buy shop with the best price and dump all the mats you can into it. I did this on a different server, spent 2 weeks farming materials with a low level dwarf, did my Scav quest, and when I had to go to Giran to finish it, I sold off all the mats. After 2 weeks I had close to 5 mil adena, more than enough for top D grade(I managed to sell all my thread and suede when people were clamoring for Dresses and Ears, so your results may vary).

it would be sooo much easier to start fresh now rather then when we did
but at the same time you get left in the dust if you start late
Tell me about it Sandron, I was in Bronze with a workhammer at 30, then I was able to upgrade to Mithril Heavy. The clan I joined helped me get a pair of dual sabers, I felt so uber with those(I still have the pics of when I got them <3). It took me a month to get to 20, 3 days to finish my scav quest. Now I do 1-20 in a day, and class change in an hour or so.
I had an account full of dwarven characters to farm materials so I could craft weapons and armor for myself. Now that Im in A grade, and done with all that stuff, I deleted them and made FUN characters.
