It is a big moneymaker. Don't wait, start it now :)
You get magic coins as side drop from various monsters, many monsters drop it. Archers make enough money with it to spam ss non-stop and never bother about costs.
You can raise your coin collector level and exchange coins to more valuable ones and then to some valuable items.
The sequel for a quest - royal coins collector is the only way to obtain a grade weapon recipes.

You can even spoil them in C4. For an hour or 2 you can get a grade wpn recipe.
Nonetheless w/ royal you can still make some money. [Not enough high lvl BHs.]
Background: Quest starts with Sorient in the Hunter's Village Warehouse. You kill a few level 54/55 mobs to get one special coin, then give it to Sorient (not Bernard) and afterwards you will get coins (not 100%) when you kill specific mobs .
The coins are Blood medusas (9k -12k to sell,) Silver Unicorns and Gold Wyrvens (2k to 4k to sell.) Since you will be killing many of these mobs anyway, the quest is a very nice bonus.
If you follow the Stratics guide, know there is an error. It says to kill Harit Lizardmen Matrichs or Shamans. THe Quest says Shamans or Chiefs. Also the matrichs are 2x hp mobs and killed me 3 times without dropping one of them at lvl 40. <stupid lizards>
Anyway the shamans are much easier and only had to kill one to get the coin. Once you complete the dwarf will tell you to talk with Bernard again to get various mobs you can kill for coin drops. Currently I am getting blood medusas off of Timak orcs.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the harder it is for your class to kill them, the less frequently they drop. I've started this quest on 3 toons now. My (not yet) gladiator took about 4 or 5, My (not yet) AW got one right away and my (not yet) prophet took the longest.
The fastest way to find them is to port to the front of anghel waterfall and follow the road, they're right there.
Although.. since I'm at school & dont' have the client right in front of me to refer to.. I can't remember if that was a kitty port or not.. ><
Ahh my bad then. I went with a high level SE to help me out and we killed two matriachs and no drop. However it did spawn like 3 or 4 quest mobs that about killed me and did kill my poor little kitty. <sheds a tear for Kai>
Anyway does anyone know why they spawned was it from my friend quest or where they suppose to spawn when I killed the Matriarch?

Those extra mobs, Harit Lizardman Zealots, spawn as part of the Audience With the Land Dragon quest, given by Gabrielle in Giran. They are supposed to spawn upon the killing of a Harit Shaman by someone with the quest. However, I have had them spawn upon killing Matriarchs, even tho I did not have that quest.
What I think happens is that someone with that quest active attacked, but did not kill the matriarch, and the zealots spawn when that matriarch is finally killed by someone else (you, in this case.)
If you friend had the quest active, that could have triggered it too.
