Help! Raid Curse - Retail Forum Archives

I was doing the second occupation transfer. I went back to Talking Island and revisited the Elven Ruin. I hit the Raid Boss (a golem) and got Raid Curse because my level is too high compared to the Raid Boss. How to remove the raid curse?

it takes roughly an hour or so and it will go away

Arena deaths may count for removing that debuff, try that first.

Yes, you'll lose the curse upon death in an arena.

And not lose your xp ^^

Not really sure what quest your doing, but not too many second change quests that require you to take down a "Raid Boss". Most require you to take out the "Quest Monster".

Unless the OP got paralyzed (as opposed to silenced).. then it's a bit hard getting to an arena.

if you hit a raid boss thats dark blue to you, you get Petrified and/or cursed, silence for mages. Petrify wears off in a few minutes, it takes i -think- 1-2 hours for silence or other curses to wear off, arena death is much preferred. Just teleport to the monster derby and die once.
