Newbies got a free weapon to play around with for a while... hehe you level very quick when you can two shot mobs with a bow without crits. I managed to level up my "archer" on kain from lvl8 to lvl9 while waiting for hinde to come back up.
A more interactive events for all level groups would be nice though....
My conspiracy theory about this year's climate is that we sold last autumn and this spring to lessen our financial defecits. :p And without spring there obviously cannot be any spring event either.
I'm wondering whats going on behind the curtains anyway... the staff is very quiet... o_O

I got a hunch they might make a rift-only event. Ppl tell me the xp sucks there and not many go in becos of that - I nvr tried, cos no one I know wants to go anymore :(
Events are nice but i would be seriously annoyed if they wasted time doing one of these instead of makeing fixes for the hugely serious bugs out there. Im surpirsed they didnt rush an event out to cover it up and make us hush about it.
The rift XP isnt too bad if you end up in the 6x rooms once or twice a night. The spoils can be very good, the drops can be very good, theres even a room to AoE in(very hawt, stupid fast respawn).
But Yes, new event please, Im out of enchant scrolls.

Actually, I'd like an event where a high level weapon would drop randomly from say, elpies. Well, or something that gives us people who don't 1) belong to large alliances 2)don't ebay 3) aren't rich a chance at nabbing high level gear without having to pay farmer prices for them.
Or, ffs, drop rates would be increased permanently by say, another 25% >.< Seriously. Hunting in the new areas blew dropwise (5 hours session with only a stocking of doom pattern and not even enough adena to justify the SS use?)
But, on the silly scale, I'd like the event suggestion where we can change our appearance totally, along with character voice for the whole of the event but completely keeping our class and race stats (and lasting only while the event goes on). I'd cheerfully turn my 49 SE to a dwarf girl. Kinda the inverse of subclass.
After the massive complaint about too much drops with the Pumpkin Event and about how worthless the Christmas event was, NC has most likely given up planning anything. It takes time and LOTS of effort to plan an event. Since no one can be satisfied with any event then why event bother. I still give NCSoft "2 thumbs up" and "5 stars" for the Pumpkin even. And screw the economy, everyone had fun with it. I guess the current event is fishing.
