not too much of a problem yet but if you die and drop your nm helm dont expect to get it back
And I don't solo because of the risk of dropping and losing your gear.
That's always been a part of the game. Since when does your personal distaste for nukers shift the "blame" of the same old finders-keepers-losers-weepers law onto us?
You do realize nukers don't just make crazy money for being cool. And most of the people who don't pick up drops are on the reroll train, funded by their old mains B or possibly A gear?
I'm doing exactly that, but I didn't have to sell my SE's armor (just every weapon I had besides a crystal staff w/ mana up & a weapon for my nuker lol).
I pick up my loot, unless I'm low on mp and I have to get too close to aggro mobs in order to get it.
Then, I rest, and go kill the mobs and pick up the loot ^^

Are you seriously telling us you leave adena on the ground for eight hours and expect to find it all still there when you go to pick it up? Wow..
Now, I usually remind folks to pick up their adena, and they often tell me I can have it.. Sometimes they say they are going to pick it up, and I leave it alone. But, seriously.. eight hours??
One day I was in DV and found a place cluttered with adena - of course I pick it up. Then, about 10 min later, a mage comes along and tells me to stop it, because its his money. LOL - if you're too lazy to pick up stuff, I'll gladly do it for you, just tell me. :)
Anyway, you dont pick up money, no problem. But never complain if others pick it up!
at above poster, There's always someone like that where I hunt, "my drops" my usual response is, then pick them up, after the 15 second timer, it's free game. not to mention enough piles of 1k to make like 200k worth of adena lags my client. if it's yours pick it up.
I use cdl to lvl. THat means i have between 1-315 hp. Mobs are able to 1 shot me. I am forced to stand away from spawn points and fire into them. This worked really well in the cemetary. I had my box. I would lvl for 40 min then pick up the adena... there was between 200-300k + drops laying on the ground. I would always check for full drops, but for anything else it isn't worth the risk to run into the box and pick up the adena. Most people were polite and asked if I was going to pick up the adena... I always answered yes, and they walked away. There was one guy who wouldn't listen and kept picking things up... I fired off 1 cdl and he dropped... I healed myself and started picking up drops cause I figured he would come back... I ended up haveing to pk him 3 more times before he stopped comeing back trying to kill me...

Or it's just a waste of time. When I was partying with an sps it was just way more efficient exp-wise to NOT run after every little drop. So I got to leech and pick up all the junk in party :)

When I duo with a live se, I always tell him it's his job to pick it up, but a lot of the time I use my box se, and it isn't practicle to pick up the drops...
Maybe some nukers don't pick their drops up because of CDL, but I think most, like Malkavian said, are just rerolls or subs who have/ebay lots of money and don't think they need the drops. I'm a reroll myself, but I know I need the money, LOL. My EE wasn't a big cash cow.
I would love to not have to pick up my drops. Leveling would be so much faster. I seriously think at least half my time while soloing is just spent running up to dead mobs and picking up the drops. I mean, I drop mobs so fast that many times they don't even get more than one step from where they were standing. But what good is that if I have to run all the way over there to pick up the loot?
My ideal place to level would be a room full of 1x mobs with some kind of bonus (stun, for example) where I could just stand in the middle and nuke, nuke, nuke and never have to move. I wouldn't waste time picking up drops. I found a room like that in the very back of EF back when I first started my SpS. It was super fast leveling. The mob spawn was perfect, they respawned about as fast as I killed, so I was able to nuke for long periods of time and then every once in a while there would be a lull in the spawn where I could run around, picking up my drops. I haven't found anything like it since. I thought maybe the cemetary would work, but the mob spawn wasn't fast enough and I'd wind up standing in an empty square for long periods of time so I had to just run around. ~sigh~
Oh well, I guess I can't complain. We nukers have it pretty good as it is. As far as the farmers, there's nothing we can do about that. There will always be farmers. Those nukers that actually do leave their drops on the ground for 8 hours probably don't care if their drops get picked up. At least, they have no right to care, because it's just stupid to leave your drops that long unless you are 100% sure that no one else will come pick them up, like I was in EF.

On that note, I just started a new toon recently and I even picked up my drops from those little demon guys you kill when you first start. Old habits die hard.

I guess with an SE 2nd-box you could have the SE pick up everything and then recharge, but this is technically a group.
SK/SE solos infinitely and makes the same amount roughly as my mage. (lesser than my summoner though)

Maybe its just because I tend to hunt my nuker in out of the way, quiet places. But I've only once had someone pick up my entire field of adena. I dont pick up my drops immediately because it DOES slow down my XPing. Im typically far away from the mob when it dies, so running to it, picking up the loot and running back is a major waste of time(Not to mention Im always in walk mode).
No it's usually a dwarfs, unless the healer is leeching, like I was. I could have nuked the mobs but since MoH has a range of like... 200, I couldn't get to them before the sps killed them all.

Yeah, you pick up my stuff that you claim is free game I will pk you, simple. Thats what makes this game great, someone ****** you off you can deal with it.
This really ticks me off. The other day I spent 30 minutes cleaning up the litter. Then this ***** comes by dropping piles of gold crap all over the place.

On a serious note there is one problem with picking up that loot. If the nuker is still there, you are KSing him if any mobs agro on you, and you have to kill them. If you want your hunting area to be respected, then you have to respect others.

How i love to get my low level alts out and pick up money when nukers let stuff sit. One hit im dead they are red and im back in 2 minutes....lol sounds like i am a farmer.
hmmm that explains alot to me, when i joined lineage 3 weeks ago i went into a field full of adenas and items, i thought that the game was so generous to me, so instead of doing any level up i started to pick up Adenas for hours untill i got tierd and went to level, Next day the same thing happend to me i saw alot of Adenas and i thought that there is a bug in a game, i said to myself why not take advantage of the bug and just pick up those items and Adenas. Anyways by the time i hit level 25 i had more than 20 million Adenas and some people asked me how much Adenas you have and i answerd 20 MIL + they kept wondering where did i get so much money and i told them i find them and just pick them up. NOW I know where all that money came from, one time i spent 8 hours just picking up Adenas from different fields just walking and looking for Adenas and i was praying that the bug would go on forever, thanks Nuckers or whatever they call you for all the money you had given me lol

Or you should be more clear. Every farmer I have ever met is very dillegent about picking things up (it is their job, you know) even things people drop on death. Reroll train people, that I know because it slows them down, according to you all nukers, and lazy people.

me and friend made alot toons and its very time intensive to pick up evry little adena pile with mage classes...
with high buffs, all mobs up to 40 are 1 shots.
alot of the new players enjoy this, gives em a "little" boost ;)
we just have alot better ways to make adenas, so its better to lvl quick than spending 50% time on picking this joke of a drop rate ...
when u kill 5000 mobs of same type and it drops only 100a .. nothing else... u wouldnt pick up anything too...
and i know alot friend who lvl toons same way, just kill and goto next area... enjoy it :)

That's why I'd rather just exp untill I need to restock, then pick up the drops at that time.

I've got your same setup except my sword is +8. Basically, stop picking up loot and don't do anything else with your fingers but keepin them on your main nuke and the camera. Try to always have another mob already on target while the finishing nuke on your current mob is still beeing casted. This way you can almost continuously hold down your main nuke key without letting it go till a field is entirely cleared (works best in the "pits").
Leveling like this is very fast, but it requires concentration and gets tiring after a while, lol :)
