Ahh yes, good choice! The ability to solo always comes in handy and the Phantom Summoner is the only summoner without the annoying sounds Warlocks and Elemental Summoners have to endure.
I was in a clanparty with Ehli (ES) and Ivelios (WL) once. It was the first time I switched off the soundeffects because of the continues ihihihihihihi and prrrrr prrrrr sounds fading away through the catacomb hallways. The good thing was we had like 15 rooms to ourselves because everyone else (including the bots) fled away from the Apostate dungeon that day. Ahh 'twas such a fine day...

good choice......not only a rare class , but also effective to play since C4 as it seems...........i just know 2 60+ PS personaly, and they scare the [censored] out of me :eek:
Nice choice, Phantom Summoners also have that cool factor that all the dark elves inherently own. Except when they continuously fall over, err, run. ;)
Shub just hit 40 today and I still need to challenge those bigheaded summoners but then I'll finally get my bloody PS done that I started back in C1, I think. :o

So true. Both together are quite taxing.
Lucky for me I could always stand back and heal from a safe distance, enough not to hear the whinnying and purring all that bad. :)
