I was just curious what is the best gear for a orc shaman? I have the option for either robes/light armor/heavy. So I was curious if it was better to stick with robes for more mp? Or should I go with light or heavy armor for better defense? Thanks in advance.
All of the orc mystics I know of use robes for groups/raids, heavy for soloing/pvp, and don't bother with LA if that helps any.
Alright the that helps a lot thanks. I know with heavy your MP regen isnt as great as it is with robes/light
If you can afford them --> do Robe + Heavy :)
Heheh, yah that's what our clan's OL did with having zubei robes and zubei heavy. You never could tell which he had on unless you hit him lol. He just recently upgraded to a-grade robes, so I don't know if he still has the zubei heavy anymore.
For shaman I would go with heavy. If I remember correctly, you have enough mana to buff all of your buffs in Brig, and have enough mana to drain when you need HP.
I went with heavy in C grade too. I couldn't buff all buffs at once, so I had to regen for two buffs, no big deal. In B grade I have Blue Wolf Light, and I have enough mana for all but one buff (don't know what it will be like at next skill level), and it gives extra casting speed. I'm liking this set a lot. I am not sure what I will do for A grade.
