I have 8 Pks and I Read if you use a scroll of Escape it takes you back to Floran. My game dosent work so i cant test it. Is this a new edition to C4, cause if it is im realllllllllyyyy PISSSSSEEEED
Well... not quite. If you have more than 5 PKs, AND you are still red at the time, the SoE will take you to Floran. This is not an addition in C4, but has been true since C2 I believe. If you die under these same conditions, you will respawn in Floran.
These changes were made to sweep Newbie-Hunting folks from the starter areas. There is a quest that you can do to reduce your PK count. It starts with any of the Black Judge NPCs. There is one near the Southern Entrance to the Wasteland, and one just north of Hardin's Academy, and others whose locations I don't know.
Yes and no. It depends on where you are on the map as to where you end up. Southern aden (ie oren and south) you will end up in floren when red with more then 5pks. However if you are north of oren you end up just outside of aden under those same conditions. I know this cause it's happened to me while red with 16 pks. It has been in game since c2 just like you said for those reasons you mentioned. It's not really a big deal tbh.
I do so many sin eaters it's sickening. There are 3 black judges in game. Southern entrance to wasteland near the trader npcs, near hardin's just nort of the gatekeeper, and near floran by one of the windmills to the southwest. There are actually 2 different sin eater quests which depend on your job change. If you are in 1st job change you get one that takes place mostly in the dion/gludin/gludio regions. Second job change ppl end up going to SoS and places of that nature. Also, after you get a sin eater, lvl it up, turn it in, don't get rid of the manacles since they can be used again to get another sin eater.
