As a dedicated practitioner of the wholesale/retail game arts I prefer the current times because they give me a chance to get home from work and be present to make stock changes etc. when the festival ends/begins.
With the new times, the farther east you live the better chance you will have for the sales rush. Or if you don't work I suppose.

Mistryl, everyone knows that the average player is too lasy to read those messages in the updater and in game, or even come to the Official Web Site.
Next time you should personnally phone every subscriber of the game to be sure they know every little change made in the game.

While we appreciate the message on the updater, don't you think that the message we get every few hours about the siege times would have been better replaced with this message?
Instead of seeing the same message about the sieges (if we don't know it by now, we don't need to know it) for the last month, it could have been replaced with messages about the event.. now that the event is over it could be replaced with messages about when the event managers will be removed.
Next, it could be about the inter server tournament that will be going on.
Then, about the next event..
When there isn't anything to say, perhaps a general tip: Don't trade your items unless you don't need them anymore, that sort of thing.
Using the server announcements more frequently for any future Seven Signs time changes and other important events is a great suggestion, and I have passed it along to the team. Thanks!
In Game Mail: You know how we can get a message in our community tab? why not send one also to every player if there is a MASSIVE change in a time such as this, Im sure you gms could just do a Send to all on the server

I would submit it to Support but that wouldn't get me anywhere, i mean i had a simple Error with level 5 clan quest and it took them 4 days to give me a item which i told them was bugged in every reply.
