hi i'm a noob cleric on gustin, aspiring to be a bishop later. i've been playing L2 for a month now soloing the whole way to lvl 25. its been a lonely road especially since i play 12am-3am pst weekdays. so i'm wondering since all the post i've read about clerics is that after 25 they cant solo that well anymore, is it time to find a clan yet even though my playtime is at odd hours of the night, or should i hold off on it til i'm 40 and get my next class transfer? what are the benefits of a clan besides people to chat with? at my lvl i dont see how i would have much to offer anyone....dun wanna be a leech
I joined my first clan at 29, besides the social part of clans, they can help you get groups, give advice, help with equipment upgrades, etc. I would quit this game if I couldn't get in a clan.
You want to join a clan allright but not every clan will do. The best clan for you would be a lowbie clan where new players are nursed up to a certain level when they will join the main clan. This way you will have access to a group of players from your own level to party with. As a healer you want to learn how to do your role properly as soon as possible.

Like the others, will be finding a clan to help me along. Anyone need a bowman who dosn't run from a good fight?
As the fact that your going bishop. you will have no proplem geting a clan.
It's really hard to find any one to go or play a bishop roll.
in my clan we had 3 clerics and all 3 of us went prophet.
I personally would of gone bishop, but I needed my toon for pvp buffs. and PvE, as is cause most peoplpe don't play prophets and it's hard to find one.
Yes i say look for a clan. but don't take one from any of the big allys, get in one thats a smaller ally that has knowen lower lvls. or even alt clans from the biger allys.
That would surely help you in geting groups. but just camping places is good to. (HC, PN, CoB, CT,'possibly' GoE, EV, IT)
