K, I dont know if this is the place to post this question...
But, trying to upgrade a weapon and have no clue how to do it..
have a elven long sword and want to upgrade it...how do I go about doing that...total noob question I know
Take it to the Blacksmith of Mammon found in Catacombs during rewards week. He'll upgrade it for ancient adena. I'm not sure how much - you'll have to find him and see.
You can't upgrade. It's the top ng weapon and you can't upgrade from NG to D grade.
Well.... The Long Sword is NG, but the Elven Long Sword is D Grade. It is, however, the top one-handed D Grade sword, and Im not sure you can upgrade from D to C grade. (I've not tried to upgrade anything.)

sell the ELS and just buy d and c crystals to get a low c grade weapon from the lux shop
upgrade cost would prolly run about 700k AA

Depending on how much you paid for your ELS and what the price of C & D crystals are on your server, paying AA to go to C grade can be an option. Its not 700kAA its something like 550k-600k can't remember the exact figure.
On Erica getting enough crystals for low C will cost close to 4 million adena. It was cheaper for me to buy 2nd top D and upgrade all the way to C (I got my AA for 1:1 ratio).
