Hey guys, I'm a level 65 gladiator right now and aoeing medusas in the back of apostate isn't really paying off anymore. Where's the next catacomb to move to?
I tried witches and it would be ok but there are mages and that is a pain. I tried martyrs but it seems that my SE's MP doesn't hold out very long and there a quite a few stunners/resist to physical which makes it hard. I tried ascetics and that seems to be alright but it is always really busy in there.
Actually no, he's not kidding. Before c4 our glad's could take the place of nukers in ab aoe parties being able to 2 shot them with their aoe's.
As for the next cat/necro to aoe at............ I wish I could help yah there. You could always try patriots and ascetics for it. Other then that I'm not sure where else if you still want to stay in cats/necros.
TOI maybe? I think first floor isnt so bad, might be a nuker there though..can't remember. You can definitely aoe the pytan room as long as you have a dedicated healer. Migght need some rest, but hell, 24k exp a pop is awesome.
I love how people think the only way to make money is to only lvl in catas. or even to make lvls.
now it is true that it's best place for my prophet. but that has to do with beable to locally find a group sub 52+.
And alot of these mobs are so easy to kill 2/4 people, hell I duo alot in the catas.
For OP: but seriously, if you want to lvl do AoE on field mobs, 1X hp will use less mp from your SE. and you cna make good quest done to. try GC. under GC, ABG. 1/2hp mobs are great and die fast.
Hey, I never said anything about cats/necros being the best places for money and lvls. In fact I avoid them like the plague most times. I was simply answering his question as he stated it. If he wants to stay in the cats/necros that's his choice. Personally I usually only go to them when either invited to a large group where I don't have to use bsps or when going down there to kill ppl.
AoE as a Glad? Heeeeell F*n yeah! I have owned a pole armo weapon at every level so far. D I had my Glaive, C I had my OPA, and now B I have my Lance. It makes for very fast leveling in that catacombs. I go there with an SE friend and tear it up. We do get pole arm skills you know....
No, I'm not kidding. The only thing that's different now in C4 is that my maximum mobs hit per swing is 9 now. Whereas before I don't think there was a limit. So rather than pull trains of 45+ that are lower level than me, I usually just stick to pulling Full rooms of 8 mobs that are white to me, and nothing is different.
Yeah maybe I'll check out other places than the catas. Thanks for the help.
