What would you guys say is the best PVP setup for a gladiator?

Right now i have Tallum Heavy with Dama*kesh +4. I like it because with all the -con that i have, i find that the 25% HP SA on the duals helps balance that out. It just sucks though for when i want to switch to a blunt to stun or a bow because I lose about 1k hp from doing the switch. I know i could get the blunt with 25% hp SA but i don't use it very often so I don't really want to waste adena on it.

I was considering switching to DC light set. Can anyone tell me if they've personally tried out Tallum Heavy and DC light and can give me a breakdown on the pros/cons?

Or if my setup is COMPLETELY wrong could you guys let me know what you guys are using and how your making out with it?

I'm really disappointed in the gladiators ability to PVP. It's pretty frustrating, so any advice you might have is appreciated.

Thanks for your time.
Best pvp set up for glad is this: reroll nuker or archer!

and delete the glad, sell all gear.

Until C5... then back to paper/rock/scissors... just the way it was in Prelude.... ah.. the good ole days.
Glad is still a very poor DD class, god they can't even tank.( and I really hate it when glads say: "I'm not a tank")

better DD's daggers, archers, nukers, and tryants (cause they are supper fast atkers).

Glad have slow atk speed, and once you get past their skills, got very low atk dmg.

Daggers crt like every 3rd hit, that makes there dmg out put higher then that of the glad. even if the glad does TSS/Dss, the dagger will still do more dmg. shot I've seen daggers do 3 crts, nom hit, 2 crts, and 4 nom. hits.

Add in a Warlock to the dagger with BD/sws, and focus weapon that dagger will out DD a glad every time.

Seriously just reroll.
glad is a hybrid, don't dis them for not being the best a something, they r a very solid class.

on the PvP setup I would go
+4 kesh *kesh
tallum heavy
-3str +3 dex
-2 con +2 dex

in PvP the real dmg on the glad is in the skills.. the faster atk spd ya got, the faster u can down classes.. 3 skills with the right setup can down any mage.

+5 dex allows faster running and atk spd.. and minus some str to save ur HP
Stop dissing on the glads, you guys know nothing. At level 61+ they become good, and at lvl 75 they become GODS.
My personal pvp set up is NM heavy, it has good P atk bonus and excellent defense, gotta lvoe that sleep/root resistance. The HP duals are good but i prefer dual kesh to quicken the recharge of sonic so i can focus up to the higher levels quicker. Hit two stones them with the nice 8% bonus smack up 5 more focus's to focus force 7. It saves hella lot of time so you can get back up in the guys face.
BTW go to player guides and read the Gladiator Guide, it has so much PvP information for lvl 61+, good read.
Seriously, your glad's will not kill me, I'm better then them.

tell you what sps come reroll on erica, I'll show you.

(fat chance in hell I'll ever play bartz)

BUAHAHAHA!!! IMO, once a glad gets Lion Heart self buff passed level 1, mages don't stand a chance. Every nuker I PvP sits there trying to sleep, run (after it fails), try to sleep, run after it fails, DIE! Mages don't stand a chance against a glad with the right setup unless the glad has no idea what he is doing. Only thing they need to watch out for is "Cancel". Glads are a very good class, at least I think so. It is the only class I have ever played so maybe I am just partial to it :p But as for the question in the thread, I am still trying to decide what A grade armor to go with but I would LIKE to have Tallum Heavy w/my +8 SLS*TSU critical duals until I hit level 64 and get Dualists Spirit. After I get that, I may sell my Tallum Heavy and go with the norm of Majestic Heavy. Althouth I would LOVE to try out Nightmare Light. I just wish A grade had a set of critical duals :( Hitting critical every other swing makes a big difference :p
I have a 44 DA & 40 Gladiator on Erica o.O
I let necros/mages destroy themselves when they fight me, my win depends on good luck but i pull it off, shove on ripo stance and run at them, they will chuck down 3-4 different debuffs and a vortex, the odds are 1 or 2 of these will reflect back. The best so far being reflection of paralize back onto the necro, i felt so cool. Killed his cursed man then /socialdance for a bit before finishing the poor guy off. But really so long as i can reflect cripple/para/silence/vortex then im laughing and will likely win. Pre 3rd class tho Glads cant do too much vs necro, but i dont care cos im a melee, and melee shouldnt be able to defeat ranged.
