Hello, I am a human knight doing the occupation transfer to DA. The last quest of "Mark of Trust" is to fight "Porta" in Cruma Tower.
My problem is, when I try to kill one Porta, the mob aside (looks like dream weaver, but stronger) also attacks me. My poor knight uses a SLS and wears only Brig set. Can not survive from the attack of these two mobs.
There is one room with only portas. When you first come in, go left, and left again when you enter the first room. It's right there. I would bring a healer though.

Yeah, only the criminally stupid try to solo those...
What server are you on? The best thing here is to get help.
I am in Bartz. The other problems are, I am always soloing and do not play too long each time. I only play one or two hours at midnight. Any other solutions?
Several suggestions actually. As they said try to get a healer, if not, get a nuker to help bring it's health down low and you take last hit. Also as said use the porta only room. To get there come down the ramp from the GK, turn right, go in the first room and go down the left hall at the far side of the room. At the next hall go left again and you'll see the titan's box and the doorway to the porta room. Another suggestion is try to see if you can get a good blunt weapon, portas are weak to blunts. Also, don't forget that you also have a stun, so try stunning them before they stun you.
Good point. Think I would bring a healer. Death could cause major weapon drop. I can not afford it.
Well... You should not drop an equiped weapon. If you do, petition a GM and it will be returned.
Having a healer is good, but if you cannot get one, you need a strategy. Buy a good number of Health Pots, soulshot and alactrity pots. Go to the porta-only room, and pick on one away from its fellows. Spam the health pots as you attack. That way, if you are stunned, the health pot keeps working. The porta's damage can break the stun, and it wears off fairly quickly.
Although expensive, be aware that you can have a Lesser Healing Pot, a Healing Pot, and a Greater Healing Pot all active at the same time. We are talking survival here if you have to solo; survival is sometimes expensive.
Be sure you activate an alactrity pot before you attack and are spamming SoulShots too; you want the maximum damage per unit time. Be aware the portas can teleport you next to them if they are attacking you, so be sure you only take on one at a time.
If there is a party killing portas, try to make a deal with them; tell them you are doing a quest and need the last hit, and that you don't need any drops or adena from them. If they have any intelligence, they should agree as it gets them more adena and drops per unit time. You may even get buffs for free. When you get your 10 heartstones, throw some more adena on the ground, thank them and leave.

Thanks, will try. Do you think it's possible to solo them? (with +0 SLS, brig set and tons of healing potions)?

You can solo them. The trick is to get them away from the other social mobs. It can be done in the first room is you're very very patient.

Is it true? My PK count is 0. However, I dropped two stems when I was killed by a MOB yesterday. I am always afraid of loosing major weapon/armour.

Thanks!!! That's very doable. Will try and report later.
Last night I went to Cruma Tower [BARTZ] and met two nice light Elves. One is mystic and the other is fighter. They gave me full buff, helped me to reduce the Portas' HP and let me do the last kill. Thus, I collected all heartstones pretty quickly.
More than that, they SOE me back to town and gave me 330k Adena. That's really nice! :D
