I had told myself that I wasn't going to ask such a noob question, but this one is kinda specific, so here goes...
I'm a lvl 48 soloing bishop (yes, I know, that's an oxymoron), and want a place to hunt besides death pass. I'm going crackers fighting in that place. What I'm looking for is a place with undead and a source of water nearby so I could fish while regenning mana. This way I could kill two birds with one stone.
I'd prefer mobs that are undead (I can hunt them much easier) with limited or no stun/paralysing versions. Am I asking too much?
entrance to devils island has skeletons that (if i remember correct) are that lvl. it also has water right there for you to fish. it is kinda packed and mobs are social, but I don't think they are agro. They don't stun afaik, but there are archer there. The major downside is the bot party that runs there 24/7, but you can heal their mobs once they get a few skelies on them. I did this on my necro, and it worked enough for them to go away.
when you get a little higher, you can hunt at the edge of the forest of the dead. lots of undeads there and you can just run over to the river when you're done.
Some of them stun, use to go there on my dwarf. Most of the mobs there also die, then come back again. Nasty. They didn't use to be aggro either but in c4 I found they are.
Cemetary is good but I think that's more for 52+. Plus there are mobs here and there that are weak to sacred but not nukable with bishop nukes so it's hard to even say what's good now :/
at 48 check out devils isle like mentioned you can fish right there mobs are not agro but they do social. No worries you have sleep or root right just? I use to go there with my BH I would agro two mobs at once usually a archer and pikeman run around a wall and fight the pikeman while the archer stood waiting for a shot then after I killed the pikeman I'd go get the archer. Was pretty easy hunting with a bishop and undead skills you will do even better
I've done Devil's Isle. It's ok, but Elite pikemen are a pain in the mana (4x mobs that are aggro). You have to work your way all the way inside, because there are no rocks to hang out on around the outside. I might try them again though.
I keep hearing about the area around Ivory tower being good, but am not sure I've heard whether there are any undead there?
Forest of Mirrors might be a good spot. There's ghosts there that give good exp and I think they might be green or white to you and there's a river near by too if I remember correctly.
oh man, why go trough that torture? don't solo man... just don't :(
at least try and duo with another support class, or a BH for some extra income =)
in the ivory tower pit there is 1 undead mob, 2x hp if I remember correctly, but I doubt there are enough to justify a steady way of leveling. Sea of spores also has some undead zombies. The trees there went from undead to plant in c4, so no nuking on those anymore :(
Just west the cemetary there are some archers and zombies that are a bit lower level - should lower than 50, I think. There are also some lower-level undead mobs just south of the cemetary.
