But in reply to bloodfest. Even though it was recycled this event is a very well though out event. Well for one I made almost 15-20 mil just selling my letter's instead of turning them in last time.
This event is a great way to make sure people are getting out there and leveling. While you level you get letters which makes it worth while to stay out grinding longer :),
no its just another kick in the nuts for support classes who would like to level too (you do know support classes need xp too right)
Nothing stop's a bishop from throwing on some light armor and grabbing some duals and doing some green mobs you know.
But I do understand what you mean just the same in general terms. I'm sure that a clannie will take you a long into a AOE group. AOE groups means +++ extra letters and it get's split to you and to the AOE'er.
yes but I think the letters drops like quest-items, thus you could send your lvl50+ to kill lvl5-10 and one-smack them, super fast just to get the letters.
I think the colour of the mob doesent matter..... but on the other hand, during the Pumpkin event it seems like the white/green dropped more event items :)
Well, if they have the same drop rate as medals, expect me to be staying up all night farming during the "hot hours". Im hoping for the best, but ready for the worst. I'll be on my alt a LOT this weekend I bet.
I trust that all those who are complaining about the event being recycled aren't going to login or participate in it and aren't going to try and get any rewards from it?

yea I missed the last one to, sounds like it's going to be a pain though with all those letters clogging up my inventory, they will be worse then spell books...................

Looks like maybe letters G and II maybe the expensive ones ?. The only thing i remember about the last letters event was to create a low lvl toon equip him with the best NG and go to town(if you have space). I for one love the event, hope to get some A enchant scolls.
so doing it with lower lvl is better than our mains?
Lower lvl twinked alts usualy have higher kill speed then high lvl mains and dont need party as much (all drop is going to 1 person).
In all the "mobs droping extra stuff" kind of events i have been through the lvl of mobs didn't make a big difference.
AoE on a low level nuker on 1/2hp mobs is perfect, im going to betray melees and make my first nuker, you'll find me in field of whispers pwning those 1/2 hp scrubs :D I can smell the gold now.
Also gunna have an alt doing an afk buy store in noob towns, always a greatfull noob willing to sell his letters.
Hopefully they've made the letters equal % drop this time, and not like last time where there were critical letters and all other letters were irrelevant.
I don't really care about the end time, I care about when the turn-in NPC is going to go away, wether its when the event ends or the week after (giving people time to trade).
YAY!!! Finally it will be something else to do besides the same ol' same ol' (well kinda)!!! I was getting bored, and I really really really liked this event before. And dang, I could definately use some jewels since I died 3 days ago and drops half of my set!
