Well, in France we have a saying that goes "only fools never change their mind", so, here i am again, after a short break trying out RF Online, i guess i missed Aden too much after all :p
Sure, the grinding is still driving me nuts, the economic system still s*cks, i'm still waiting for relaxed servers, player housing and mounts, but there's so much potential in this game that its still addictive nevertheless !
So, Kihaku, did u find your RP clan ?
Now that i'm back, i'd like to join a Dark Elf RP clan, if anyone knows of one, please let me know !
Ok, so as it seems that there is no Dark Elf RP Clan on Teon, well... i just created one yesterday ! :p
For those of you who are interested, watch out for the official announcement coming soon on the "Clan Hall" thread, including a website complete with Clan members profiles and Clan email addresses ! :)

Havent seen many RP clans on Teon. but i wish you all the best
Yes, thats exactly why i wanna create one !
Besides, Teon is not a server like the rest of them, its the only "geographical" server, so almost every European player plays on Teon, and among them must be roleplayers, casual players, grind-players, etc...
The Clan is created, the website is almost done, i'll let you know ASAP ! :)
Well, to be honest, i couldnt care less !
As long as i have fun with my friends and the other people that will join the clan, thats all that matters !
Like i've always said, there's not one only way to play Lineage, and besides, i've always loved to be part of the minority against the majority :p
Oh yeah, and one more thing : some of the people on these boards were the reason why i left the game in the first place, i guess they succeeded in convincing me that Lineage II wasnt for me, but after a short break, you know what ? I realized that a MMORPG is only what you make of it, the good folks at NCSoft provide us with a detailed universe, a set of game rules, but the rest is up to us !
So, yes, it might take me a whole year to go from lv24 where i am now to lv40, cos i'm not a uber-leveling-grinding-player and i can only play one or two hours a day, but who cares ? If i'm having fun Role-Playing the game, being interested in the Aden background, meeting my friends online, thats all that matters !
You can call me an old outdated dude (yes i'm 33 now), but i'm not gonna let a bunch of kids tell me that there's only one way to play a game i wanna play !
I always thought it was ironic that hardly anyone RP's in MMORPG's. (massive multiplayer ROLE PLAYING games) Its even stranger that there are "special" servers in MMORPG's for RPGers. :)
Good luck to you!
Thanx !
Well, it seems that i have more luck ingame than offgame, cos after a few hours between the Dark Elven village and Gludin, the Shillien Empire is expending fast, we already have 5 members, and i now need to get some more SP to make the clan lv1 !
5 more spots left for those interested, dont waste any time ! :p
Hm... i'm not sure i can talk about it here, but lets give it a try and see if the post gets deleted or not :p
To sum it up, i'd say that RF Online is a great game, full of potential, but still too "young", too "new" to be very interesting past the first month of playing
The first month is really great though, the graphics are good (not as good as Lineage, of course, i dont think any game can beat Lineage on this part), you level up pretty quick, get a lot of different armors & weapons, but in the end it all comes down to hitting mobs to get weapons to be able to hit harder mobs to get better weapons to be able to hit... well, u see the point ;)
There are a lot of interesting features (like the Race vs Race war, the Race Leader who can talk to all the people of his/her race, the Mining, etc...) but for me, it was too early to play the game, i'm more of a Role Player so i like a detailed and rich universe in which you can do something else other than grinding !
But, if the only thing you like in Lineage is grind-grind-grind til you're able to PvP, RF Online will be perfect for you, at this current stage of development its kind of a "grind-only futuristic Lineage" :p
