well as you all know the event will not start on the 23rd as NC has promised, it will basically start on the 24th or so the ads say
wth is this? the event will start at 10:00pm the 23rd? why not start the event in the morning?? 10:00pm is too late... they should make it 2 hours later and just say it starts on the 24th...

If you're trying to find logic within Lineage 2 or in the actions its staff takes I applaud you quickly before laughing until I need new shorts considering I have yet to see something in this game that makes sense but it just continues to draw me in anyways :) oh well :D

I have to agree. The event isn't even a full 5 days. Thats a whole day for most people of no event. Only a few could get on that late.
Think of it this way: it won't be until noon on the 24th in China that the letters start dropping. That'll give us a good head start on the profarmers. :D
on the other hand, 10 pm is only 6 pm in Hawai'i.
Lin2 players there won't even be able to finish washing their dishes after dinner before the event starts. :(

Even if that were the case it would only work if they actually "played" the game. The truth is that they will be logged on and collecting letters before any legit player. ;)
With regards to why it is starting so late, my guess would be that some Korean dev needs to log on and actually start the event. I don't think that NCNA actually handles these events themselves. Doesn't 10pm CST equate to sometime around 1pm in Korea? I'd say that the Korean Devs have allocated a slot at 1pm on Friday to set up the NA event. If this is the case then then we will always have peculiar start times until NCNA start taking over responsibility for setting up these events or the Koreans get up earlier. ;)
It's a weekend event. They didn't want people to have a long time to farm these. Could you imagine what would happen if everyone on the server got two of each of these boss jewels?
